What can i do to increase the range on my LR300? The current accurate range is about 100 feet before the bb curves to left or right.
I tried to adjust hop up but saw no change in any position i put it in. The MP5 barrel is shorter and has a much better range than the LR300............... confused

Sounds like you need a new hopup bucking

Or it's missing the nub, like that one A&K SR-25. I'd say just get a King Arms bucking from Airdog. It's like $12, and it comes with a nub in case the LR-300 is indeed missing one. I picked one up for my neighbor today (JG G3), and it made a nice improvement.

OK so i broke down the LR300 this morning. It was fairly simple to remove the inner barrel and hop up assembly
Upon inspection of the bucking I noticed the nub was not set in the grove properly and the soft bucking looked cheap
Not that i would know being this is my 1st aeg, but it seemed loose around the inner barrel not making a good seal. I reinstalled the nub properly and reassembled the gun. I can now hit targets @ 90 feet with ease. I plan on getting a new bucking and nub this week. Also will try some .25 bb's as the .2 start to fly everywhere after 100 feet. My spirits are up again especially since i made this minor repair myself.

King Arms metal one peice hop up and a firefly bucking and nub would be a good choice

But changing the nub and bucking can make a huge difference in your guns accuracy and range

Yes, but not on the hopup chamber unless you go with a neo chamber.... In reality all the chamber does, is hold everything together and push the nub down, so not much is achieved there.

Ahhhhhh!......Good point. I will just go with the bucking for now. Will the King Arms Bucking be my best choice?

Generally, your best bet for a bucking is either firefly or prommy. I have a firefly bucking in my gun and it performs very well. I believe admin runs a prommy bucking so you could ask him about that.

In my experience, firefly has been the best performer, and it is what most people recommend.

So I went to Airdog today and PU a new bucking. All they had in stock was Madbull. It came with 2 bucking and 2 nub. I figured i would give it a try seeing that the stock one i had was crap. So after some NOOB mistake I got my rifle shooting great.

Lets see if you guys can figure out my mistake on my 1st try at installing my new bucking. I'll give you the clues.

After removing the inner barrel I carefully removed the hop up and the bucking. The bucking kinda got scrunched up and i had to lightly dig it out. After getting the bucking out of the hop up I was like Crap I dropped the old nub somewhere!Because I couldnt find it? its a Good thing this new bucking set came with new nub. Then i proceeded to install the new bucking. After getting my gun back together,I did the test fire. No matter where I set the hop up the bb's would just fly straight up. Can you guess what my mistake was? The clue is in this paragraph.

But now my gun shoots 150 or so feet straight with no rise or fall. BB's just start curving to the left and right at about 120 feet.

Wow! No guesses? ok.......the answer is i thought i dropped the old nub but it was still in the hop up,so i had 2 nubs. This is great if you want to aim at the ground and hit a squirrel in the top of a tree.
