Which Branch of Service?

Man, you forgot Merchant Marine.

I feal sorry for the Coast Guard...no one likes them because there part of the US Homeland Security....but one day we will all want to be in the Coast Guard because they will have their own special operations force.

I have a huge amount of respect for the coast guard. I could never do what sone of those guys do. Too much water for my liking.

No I dont see why the Army would care if he voted for another branch of military. Others on this forum have voted for another branch while being in the army.

Indeed it is not surprising considering who was out of line and who was not.

Personally i voted Coast Guard. Its not just because im going into the CG, but because i feel they dont get alot of credit for what they do. The ME (maritime Enforcement) rating is coming out January of 2010. This will help the Coast Guard become more popular because we will see a strong "armed" force. FOr the coast guard at least. Thats the rating i hope to get, and one day i hope for being a Port Security, Boarding Team member, or a Maritime Security team memeber. These are all jobs that include anti-hostage situations, drug raids, and law enforcement.

Even though i voted CG, i still believe there is no "best branch". I just thought it was sad that NO ONE has clicked CG yet. lol. I feel like if your in the Military, you have taken a step of service to your country, and who could ask for more? Branches are not football teams, although alot of people fail to realize this. haha. I like em' all, and have respect for any person serving in the U.S. Military.

And please for gosh sakes take the AF patch off your uniform! Seriously dude.......i find it disrespectful to be wearing that to a "simulation game".......Not trying to start anything, but i find that disresect to those who served, and those who died in the Military.
