Could i put a high speed motor in a stock AGM SCAR? Just a highspeed motor, and possibly run a 7.4 lipo. Thats all, no high ROF lipo, just a High Speed motor, and 7.4.

Would this eat up my internals? How much effect does the motor have on all the internals?

IM a tech noob. (just ask Rhino) haha.

Would not hurt at all but the stock AGM motor will handle the 7.4v lipo as well. AGM and A&K use pretty decent stock motors.

99% of stock motors can handle batteries up to 10.8v or more. Using a 7.4v lipo with the AGM scar you may encounter some 2 round bursts w/o a MOSFET but the motor should do fine.

You internals will not be eating in any less rounds than they would with a NiMH or NiCD, it just might seem faster due to more RPS/RPM

The way I look at lipos is like this:

Gearbox will break in 40,000 cycles using 8.4v 1500 MAH at 10 rps

Gearbox will break in 40,000 cycles using 11.1v 15C 2000 MAH at 20 rps

In this case you will get the same amount of cycles just with a lipo you will reach 40,000 cycles two times faster than with an 8.4v

If the agm motor is anything like the one in my agm m4,i would replace it asap. Its they sucky. Trent put one of his matrix turbos in it and the rof skyrocketed.
