The TM FAMAS is a nice gun IMO. Externals are kinda plasticy, but solid enough. Rate of fire is WONDERFUL, accuracy and range are there as well, and it's short enough to be used in CQB due to the bullpup design. And Airsoft Atlanta has it for $230 http://www.airsoftatlanta.com/product_p/39404.htm.
Also, you can modify the gun to take M16 mags pretty easily.

Yep. It's the exact same length as an M4 with the stock collapsed.

i love my FAMAS and it takes M16 mags. good on the field and in CQB.
