I just got a Cybergun branded CYMA cm046 (all metal, real wood blowback AK47 Very Happy) Question is this....will it run a lipo out the box? And is the price to rof increase worth running a lipo over a 9.6v?

if you go lipo it should be wired to deans. The blowback is a no no when you want to get tthe most out of a AEG so you'd have to turn that off/disable it to run anything faster than a 9.6.

being wired to deans is the least of his concerns. You need to think about getting a mosfet installed on your gun to save the contacts. an 11.1v is going to put more stress on your internals if you are going to be running full auto. 7.4 you can get away with for a while, but like I said mosfet is the safest route. also you need to ask yourself some questions. are you comfortable working on your gb yourself? are you going to be upgrading the gun soon? how reliable do you want the gun to be? what is your budget? when you answer those questions better you will have more of an idea on how much stress you want to put on your gun.

My initial budget is $150-$200. I know LiPo batteries are pricey, so getting it ready to run one for future use is my concern. Would like to get a good rof (20+ bps) and good accuracy (to 150 ft) I know you guys are knowledgeable here, just wanting some guidance.

to get your gun lipo ready your going to have to replace almost every part. Mainly bc you have a clone aeg which have junk internals

all the lipos i've seen online are fitted with xt60. you will have to purchase those connectors and be comfortable soldering.
mosfets are also recommended, but might as well upgrade the wiring to 16 awg or low res 18 awg (works best for wired to front).

if you don't want to deal with all that, just stick with 9.6v
    i'm not a lipo fan.
