ive got a fairly new gr16 blow back m4, and ive been having problems with the motor getting hotter than what seems normal (Like hot through gloves). im wondering what could cause this. a little info i have not opened the gun up or touched the internals. any help is appreciated

it could be tight shimming or motor height to high. you can try lowering your motor height 1/4 turn at a time but if you go too low, you will start stripping the pinion gear (high pitch grinding sound). you can hear the sound change as you lower it little by little.
if lowering it doesn't stop the overheating, then you need to open up the gearbox and re-shim the gears.
