i want to upgrade my agm type 96

i have an agm type 96 i bought from airsoft atlanta and it shoots at maybe 400 to 450 fps. thats not good enough for me. im new to highend airsoft and was wondering what i should upgrade it with. i know i want a new spring but anything else

If it really does shoot 400 you really dont need to go higher with the fps, maybe accuracy but fps is plenty high. The limit is 420 on several fields near here.

dude 420 na for a sniper rifle the fps limit is 500 my custom tokyo marui vsr10 shoots 560 with my 170 spring and over 600 wit the 190

That's an AEG limit.
First off, know that your gun takes Maruzen Type 96 upgrades. Your gun is also a rebranded WELL, which means that it's the same thing as the UTG and TSD L96.
Second of all, what BB's are you using? If you're not using high-quality [hint]Bioval .27g BBBMAX[/hint] BB's, then it's hard to know what you want. Without a good baseline, it's nearly impossible to know what would be best.

If you want a heavier spring, you're going to need an L96 V or Zero trigger or a sear set. The WELL/AGM/TSD/UTG AW's don't have a very strong trigger. After a reinforced trigger, I'd get an M160 Type 96 spring.

I'd also look at the PDI hopup for the L96, a new hopup bucking, and a tightbore.

AEG's can still go over 420 if they are single shot sniper rifles.

But all of the stuff that ADMIN listed is good, maybe throw in some barrel spacers, and try the EdGI tightbore barrels, I have heard nothing but good about them.
