Theoretically I could fit another regulator at the tank but I am a fan of a clean look and I don't do things by halves. Adding a regulator by the tank would make it unnecessarily bulky compared to my other method.

Also, I don't like Palmer regulators. They're decent, but they pale in comparison to an AKA Sidewinder or a Dye Hyper3. Either way, I also want to be able to fine tune the pressure more accurately, IE the reason for the LPR instead of an HPR.

Yes, I do love cockers. I used to do lots of tech work on them and I have even milled my own autococker. I had two karnivors but I never really liked them. I always went back to my orry with nexus internals. I've had 12 different autocockers over the years and I have always loved them.

I ran an autococker setup for years as a frontman with a number of teams. I eventually changed it up and have since owned 4 egos, 2 dm4s, 3 dm6s, 1 dm7, 1 dm9, 3 shockers, 2 cyborgs, a droid and a luxe. I've used nearly everything over the years. It was stupid but I never really owned a gun more than a month and a half.

CPs are decent, but I still recommend hyper3s or sidewinders. In my experience, a CP averages +-3 fps on a chrono whereas a hyper3 or a sidewinder average +-1 on a chrono. All of my tests are done with completely broken in and well lubricated regulators. And I always use hater sauce for lining my paintball gear.

So, CP regulators are pretty solid regulators for the money but you can still get more consistency with a hyper3. It all comes down to how important consistency is for you. If you are just using it for rec games, then a CP is perfect and will perform admirably.

Let's be cordial, we are simply having a lively discussion.

And if anyone sees any glaring holes in my method to convert a gbb to external air, feel free to point it out. I'd hate to get halfway through and realize I forgot some major detail.

Maybe get one of those old style guns with the huge air pack that you wear on your back and have to pump up with a bike pump?

I am leaning more towards the remote line idea. It is more compact.

But then you don't have an airtank on your back or the use of a bike pump

I do have an airtank though. The remote line simply connects the tanks that I already have to the gun. It is just a high pressure hose that allows you to store your tank on your person rather than on the gun.
