Discover Mills Mall apparently has an indoor cqb airsoft field. I'm going to check it out sometime soon, but I was curious who would be interested in coming up here to play?

I beleive its called gold eagle airsoft. Its terrible words cant describe or at least when they had there old location it was, could have changed but i doubt it. This was about 2 years ago when sac was up and running but a sac local went to check it out and he said the place used carboard for bunkers, set up like a crappy paintball course, and the best was how they make you buy there own bb that they vacume up from the floor and reuse/resell to customers for crazy pric

This place apparently just opened up in July. I'll go and check it out this weekend and hopefully everything will check out. I will definitely be keeping you guys updated about it. I'll probably run down there this weekend and see how it goes if not tomorrow morning.

from the video looks like an old skate park. Maybe you can skate to while shooting that would be interesting.

Re: Who wants to play some indoor CQB?
Yeah that video is from 2007 so I don't know how the new one is, but directly from their myspace page "We are the LARGEST Indoor Airsoft arena(BATTLEFIELD) in the state of Georgia LOCATED IN DISCOVER MILLS SHOPPING CENTER. Our NEW battlefield is over 25,000 sq.ft. with many obstacles and now has FOUR LARGE ROOMS 24' X 24'.This field is the largest in the country."
25k sq ft sounds good to me. 350 fps is doable as well.
Also here is the new website: http://www.airsoftindoorarena.com/default.htm
It does say that no outside bb's can be used on their website though

Hopefully, if they do vaccum up bb's then I am sure they wouldnt mind having some hq ammo thrown into the mix.NJSC wrote:Maybe something could be discussed.Alpine wrote:Rhino wrote:Alpine wrote:Do you know the fps limits cause I'd like to try it after SAAL.

Re: Who wants to play some indoor CQB?
Btw, it did use to be a skate park. I am actually shocked to hear that they got rid of the skate park and put in an airsoft field, seems how the skate park was doing well. Oh well, All I know is it was a huge area when I use to skate there, so I am sure its still the same size. If they set it up right, it should be a fun place to play!

Re: Who wants to play some indoor CQB?
Alright here is the skinny on the field. First off the subject of house bb's being used. They are TSD and Goldenball bb's they do vacuum up the bb's and sell them, BUT they sell them as used bb's and in talking with the owner he said they are a big hit with the springer kids. Secondly, it is not where the old skate park is, but is close to Bass Pro and the field is 100x200 ft. All the bunkers were made of plywood/blandex and very good quality. In talking with the owner he said that 50 people is the best number of people to be playing at a time, but has hosted 60. Field limits were "from 350-380" and full face masks are required.
I really liked the look of the field. And I am very excited to be playing there soon.
