setup...which would you pick Empty setup...which would you pick

    Post  preston 23.12.09 19:00

ok well I know for christmas I will be getting around $200 and so here is a list o items that I might get for my dboys scar.I already have metal bushings,re-shimmed gear box, systema bucking,363tbb( got a SCS nub and smart charger on its way)Which set up do you think will give me the most compative advantage on the field. I am the kind of player that likes to engage at a mid to long range. so what do you think...and what is you thoughts on the selected items.

    list 1

    509tbb matrix
    element hop-up
    4 hi-caps echo 1
G&G stock motor(want to get rid of the whinny jg stock motor)
    155mm metal mock silencer
    5000 .23 matrix
    4x30 scope with rings

list 2 is the same minus the scope and 4 hi-caps. just add a echo1 m4 c-mag 2500rd ,and a thigh dump pouch or a 1x42 ncstar red dot.

scopes are just going to be used for spotting in airsoft unless you have a sniper rifle.
what are you going to need a dump pouch for with a 2500 ct c-mag?

My dad gets oustanding range with his sr25 on the field and I understand you have a scar. What he has is a Ak length tightbore(get the matrix one Ive got one and its great), firefly bucking and a SCS nub using matrix .23 gram bbs. It gets far over 200 feet of accurate range.

In list one, cross out the scope and add the dump pouch.

Also, as to the whine you're talking about, have you reshimmed/lubed the gearbox and adjust ed the motor height?

Yeah you can get a red dot. They're pretty helpful as they let you keep both eyes open when you line up your shots.
