HomeHi guys, my brother got an A&K m249 saw for christmas and he wants upgrades. He wants the fps to be around 400, and wants the gun to handle that fps reliably. Also he wants a fix to the trigger "sticking" problem (shoots on and on after trigger is released). Finally, he wants decent accuracy. If you guys could post some stuff to help that would be great. Thanks in advance.

I'd personally go with an M130 spring (249 gearboxes are longer than your average, so you'll need an M130 instead of an M120). I'd get a Modify Ultra Piston for reliability, and I'd reshim and relube the gearbox. For accuracy, pick up a new hopup bucking, I'd recommend a Prometheus or King Arms one. And as for the trigger problem, it's probably the spring on the plunger for the trigger contacts.

All good info except there is no spring or plunger in the trigger system, Its got a mirco switch

+3! Best gun tech I have even seen, fastest and does the best job on gear boxes! If there is a better one out there, then it must be GOD because I have never heard of

lol, yeah dude just bring it up to airdog, you cant go wrong by doing that. They will get your gun up and running how u want it to.
