I personally like it without the helmet. IMO, ballistics helmets don't look right without some sort of plate carrier or other body armor. A Protec might look nice with it though.

Get a belt, untuck the blouse (looks good but very impractical in the heat, get a combat shirt if you want to tuck), lose the carry handle on the CQBR, and get a haircut :p.

I put the aimpoint back on the cqbr and i did a few external things to it. I want to get a sr25 front end for the m16 and get some kind of illuminated scope

Nothing wrong with tucking the blouse....I tuck mine all the time when in the field. I can get to things in pockets easier. If you are running a First Line Kit, your untucked shirt will be in the way, usually. Like a secondary in a low ride rig(not dropped down to your knee) Also, keeps my shirt from getting all fouled up in my gear if I have to go over a wall. I hate that...

The new uniforms don't have the lower shirt pockets anymore, this is one reason why.

digital woodland? you mean MARPAT? yes that's ok for the fear team or delta i think. just check the uniform requirements on the website to be sure

Digital Woodland does exist. Doesn't mean its MARPAT. However they are very similar.

there's really no difference. you would call it marpat if you saw it.

The color of DW varies from manufacturer to manufacturer. The primary difference is that it is not allowed to be used by the USMC because it doesn't have the Marine EGA (Eagle Globe Anchor) on it. The real stuff has the EGA printed as part of the pattern in various spots. DW may also not be NIR compliant so you will glow like a billboard when hit with IR light in NVG's.

This isn't exactly 'gear' per se but it does have the theme down pat. One of our guys made some Amarcham ID's for us to use at the game. If you ask him REAL nice ($$) he might be persuaded to make some for other players. These are card printed on cards similar to key cards or ID's. The barcodes actually do say things too if you happen to have a barcode scanner.

How much asking nicely ($$) would it be, I'm interested but Don't have much money as I'm finishing a loadout for FEAR.

The last game he made ID's for I think they were around $5 each (the cost of the card + ink). Maybe a bit more now, probably in the $7.50 range since the ink ribbon costs have gone up. If you are REALLY REALLY NICE he might even make some Delta force ID's. Just need to send him a pattern and logo since he would rather not spend a lot of time designing them for what he charges.

Edited: Spoke to him, he said that the ATC cards are $7.50 prepaid. If he sells 100 of them he might be able to clear enough to pay for his entry. He will think up some designs for FEAR team cards as well.
