M150 = over kill! That would put the gun well over 420 fps.

do you realize even with a 140 you could be seeing up to 470 fps? With BB's flying that fast you are going to have to make it semi auto. Why do you want to make a SAW a single shot gun?

no they wont the saws gearbox doesnt compress the piston all the way so a m140 is like a m120 on a normal gun

M140 should be within field limits in a SAW. It should be somewhere around 420 FPS.

The fields here have an FPS limit of 420 FPS for full auto weapons and 550 FPS for Semi auto only. It's just so noone gets hurt.

You are aware that this is a local Georgia forum, right? Not that you're not welcome, but if you want me to point you to a national/global forum or to a local MI forum I'd be happy to do so.stin1224 wrote:feild limits?

Dude we are trying to save you a headache... it's not going to be long before the front of your gb breaks off, you strip gears, you burn out motors, or all of the above with an m150 in and e1.

1) MIA Sanctioned Field Rules only allow >410 FPS for full auto.
2) Some M249 GB's do not compress the spring all the way. An M150 is fairly normal in a M249 for around 400-410 FPS.

Yes I would do those! I own a HIGHLY upgrade M249 with an m140 doing a steady 420fps.
