dry fire without spring Empty dry fire without spring

    Post  -a|ex 07.10.10 21:09

just finished installing an AB mosfet and in the hast to fire it, i forgot to put the main spring in the mechbox. the first fire sounded like the motor was set too low. then i fired again in auto. then realized i forgot to put the spring back in. since this is a tavor, i put the spring back in and fired it. all sounds well and chrono'd correctly @ 420fps with jbu m120 spring.

since i fired it without the spring, do i need to reset the gears (sector to 1 o'clock) or should it be fine? i really don't want to open up the mechbox again unless i really have to.

You should be fine, gear timing is sort of a joke
