Re: which gun?
im pretty sure a TM anything is a good base gun to build on because they have excellent external quality and stock accuracy(plus aug's use v3 gearboxes which are better for high fps). i dont have any personal experience with TM guns though before you buy an AUG try one out for at least a day. the trigger pull and bull-pup reloading should be the worst of your concerns.xdsdx44 wrote:Is a tm aug a good base for dmr/field build? Re: which gun?
why don't you get the gun (I'd recommend the KWA) and shoot it for a while to see if you real need to upgrade it; chances are all you really need is a tightbore

That right there is what you need. This gun performs amazingly. Great range and accuracy. The gun is general is well built all around.

Re: which gun?
you can't go wrong with a KWA, and yeah, the G36 is an accurate. Like I said earlier, stick a tightbore in it and see if that's enough to suit your needs. Don't get all testosteroney over FPS numbers, it's what the weapon actually does on the field that matters. You might find you can save yourself some money and buy some more BBs instead of just chairsofting

Re: which gun?
It's a G&G. I'm pretty sure it's reliable. I wouldn't personally own one on the fact that it's CO2. I would put a little extra ($60-$75) together and get either a KWA GBB or a SOCOM GBB.

Re: which gun?
good question. I guess a Tawainese Manufacturer? Ive owned around 4 Crosman M50 (mirco uzi's) and loved them while they lasted it, of course their discontinued now. They were also made by Maruzen in Japan as they made the same type of gun back in the day but used GG. The only step up from Cybergun-WG-etc as far as C02 pistols is KWC as they have a few CO2 pistols, may have to order em from EA tho. CO2 is getting more expensive as well and if it were me unless I just liked the design of the gun id go with GG guns.xdsdx44 wrote:what is a good co2 pistol?

Re: which gun?
Not sure how WE's are currently but I had a WE Luger about a year ago and the mags can't hold gas at all. There mags are known to leak, not sure if they changed. Just get a KWA, theres no point in half a$$ing it.xdsdx44 wrote:How is the WE desert warrior 1911? Im not looking to spend $$ on a KWA.

Re: which gun?
I just got a Combat Machine. I pulled the trigger, and the trigger came back but the contacts stuck, causing a 10 round burst after I released the trigger. This wont happen on a KWA, will it?

That can be easily fixed and can always happen with any AEG, if you bring it to the shop they can do the quick fix for ya.
