Re: which gun?
I have a surefire G2 and 6p and might be buying an m900 from a friend. They are the best lights I have ever used, although I have never used 4Sevens. Surefires are worth the money and will last you a lifetime.

Terribly inaccurate, crazy long trigger pull, low cap on mags. not worth 50.00 to me.

Would a g&g m14 make a good base for a dmr?

Re: which gun?
Is it like an E1 where you have to replace every part to upgrade it?
I want m120 spring and high torque motor, what else would I have to replace.
Also, is it lefty friendly?

Re: which gun?
G& G's are far superior to echo1's. much better quality. you may want to replace the piston and the motor. that's it.

Re: which gun?
have you used 11.1v batteries in airsoft? i thought it was the 'end all, be all' of airsoft guns when i started playing. they pack a lot of punch. 20+ rps isn't always that fun. the constant sewing machine sound sounds even worse (maybe just my shimming?), it eats up BBs like crazy. plus they can be very dangerous. i don't see many pro's to having an 11.1v battery in an assault rifle besides trigger response. BUT if you are going to buy a lipo, you should probably get it from hobbyking.com or ebay.com

Re: which gun?
Yes, the 11v would indeed be for superb trigger response.
Blaze, does the gun have no wobble and if you hold it lefty will anything get in the way of your hand?

No wobbles, can be held left or right. I am answering it for him because I just built his gun. He also has a mosfet and runs an 11.1

I found this version and I like it because its shorter and has a scope mount. But it looks like it is too far foward. Will it make it difficult to use a 4x scope?

Re: which gun?
It will make it more difficult. You can purchase a very cheap piece that will place an RIS block directly in front of the rear sight post and allow you to have a scope much closer, for better relief. Red dots are perfect for this weapon however. Also, side mounted RIS rails are cheap as well and readily available for the weapon.

Kind of a short barrel to be a sniper rifle.

Re: which gun?
I kind of want a lighter, shorter weapon. Ill use full auto instead of just semi.
new piston
high torque motor
mosfet
11v lipo
m120
new bucking and nub (what the heck is a nub?!)
red dot =
great mid range weapon( correct me if Im mistaken)

A nub pushes down on the bucking to adjust back spin.
