I started looking for some cheap multicam for me and my sons to have as a tan uniform to go kick some S.C. butt in April. Well there is a lot of brands and places on line to get it and was hopeing yall could help me narrow it down a bit (I know a lot of you guys like to run with multicam). First thing to keep in mind when shopping for me is i'm cheap! this kinda cheap http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/combat-gears/clothing-bdu/bdu-uniform/ea-gear-usmc-special-force-bdu-uniform-set-mc-version-3.html i'm shopping for three. Sure I would like the top of the line stuff it's just not pratical for me and no matter what ya get its all going to wear out eventualy. Just thought some of you may know the best places on line to get this stuff. I realy like the ACU cut type but what do you think of the combat shirt like this one http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/combat-gears/ea-gear-combat-shirt-and-pants-w-pads-set-multicam.html the built in pads seems like a good idea. Is there any reasons not to get these EA brands?

you're going to be making up the difference in cost through shipping and time it takes to get here.

Re: is this a good deal on multicam?
Yeah had that in mind, but i'm about to put in a good size order for parts and gear from E. A. and KHMountian so thats why I had them in mind. Last time i order from them the shipping cost wasn't to bad, but it took weeks for the whole order to come in one peice at a time. Tracking was pretty bad also.NJSC wrote:you're going to be making up the difference in cost through shipping and time it takes to get here.

Re: is this a good deal on multicam?
That multicam wears out very very fast and fades even faster. I only get my multicam if it is propper, crye, or truspec. I havent had any problems with durability on the truspec, and it took two years for my propper multicam to fade. I have notice that my truspec combat shirt is turning a slight shade of pink as it starts to fade.
That being said you pay for what you get. If you are going to run this uniform for 3 or 4 games then go for it. But if you are looking for something more permanent than I would suggest going with a quality uniform. I promise you that you will save yourself some money in the long run.
Perhaps you can find some slightly used multicam from somewhere to save yourself some money?

You can get these for cheaper with free ship and in the US.

for your kids u might like these if your not dead set on them having multicam. I say for your kids because the big boy sizes are out of stock and have been for a little while. If they come back in i plan on ordering one in OD.

Dont know how great they are, but I'm cheap like you too. If i were single with no kids i could justify the "good" stuff but kids are expensive enough without hobbies, and college isn't getting any cheaper!!
On a side note I think because multicam is a new pattern its more expensive, I went to Airsoft "Out-of-stock" Atlanta Saturday and their operator hats in ACU, OD, Tan, and Black were 7.99 but the Multicam from the same brand was 14.99?????

Re: is this a good deal on multicam?
Silent Option, that second combat shirt you listed is great, I bought the Voodoo version in OD from a different place (I'm guessing it's the same kind because of the same price+everything else) and I'm very pleased with the quality. The stitching is not as good as the tru-spec, propper and blackhawk shirts I have but it's still one of my favorite shirts.
Just keep in mind the sizing is different than most BDU and ACU shirts, I usually wear a small but I accidently ordered a medium in that and it fits perfectly.

Would u happen to know where u got it from? I want one in od especially at that price.
It's crazy that I ordered a tac u acu style shirt in od made by propper and it's cheaper than the combat shirt, but to the OP, that army navy store poop suggested may have multicam used which is considerably cheaper than any new and if it's anything like the surplus stores around me they won't buy rags from peoPle to resell.

That's where I bought it. It's a little more expensive than the other one though (just a few bucks though). The baselayer though is %100 cotton. Although it does breath well (like wearing a t-shirt) it's not like the Tru-spec combat shirt which has a cordura baselayer.

Re: is this a good deal on multicam?
To the all the above post... good info thanks. I won't be getting the EA stuff even at $30 I need to last a littel longer than 3-4 washings. I can come up with a tan uniform for the op (go dig out my old chocolate chips) i've just become realy interested in the multicam becuse it works so well and versatile. I think now its worth while to save up to make it our main load out. I will keep on shopping around, may post a littel latter on the WTB section. Got one my boys a set of used digital woodland true specs from one of the guys here on the forum and he loves them.

Re: is this a good deal on multicam?
Well i did it. Got some true spec multicam on order. $85 per set with head gear. One of the military surplus near me does't stock it, but can get it what I wanted in about 3 days. Me and one of my boys had a lot of fun going thru all the stuff at those places. We found some great buys on some older gear and I even bought a army litter (stecher for the wounded) like i used when I was a army medic way back when. Don't know why I bought it I just did. Mabey I can use it at a game or as a cot. lol... My wife is not as happy as me about our little venture.
