That sounds perfect. IMO, some of the biggest mistakes made in designing fields are made when people try to only build up one area. You NEED to have little clusters of structures spread throughout the field with a mixture of natural cover.

the plan is that building and an L shaped house on the other with a 2nd story like the one pictured with another large house in the middle and some smaller buildings in between i also got a old dump truck im going to put out there in the street and some tractors (maybe) i will also have some tires culverts etc. we are going to run a game or 2 before the op in october so we can tweak the lay out if needed i wanted to have it all done by now and have the pics up but it is so damn hot that i cant get many people to help but we will get it sooner or later

Men walk out with armfuls of tools, and equipment loading down several trucks.

Mr. Charlie: Yep..... Me to, but I spect that wont be much uh problem. Just be careful with the formulas they maybe from my college days but if you don't follow them they will kill you.

Man in the driver seat: Yes Mr. Charlie (he pats his breast pocket) they are safe and sound and speaking of this is a down payment.

The man pulls out a small bag spreading some gold and silver coins out onto his large palm, then slides them back in the bag. He holds the bag out for Mr. Charlie who tips his hat and takes the little bag with just a barely audible jingle.

ok as peeps we run a attack and defend game on the new building today i have added a dump truck and cut the windows out larger and all is good we are building the other 3 structures next week so keep checking back for some new pics also if u are coming please vote so far i have around 50 for the rebels teams and only 12 or so for the usf

Wanted to add some photos of the area. The terrain is really varried here, from swamps woods, some open fields etc. I believe there is over a 120 acres we get to play on. 5 separate structures at this point as well.

Oh man! This place is killer! I've had a chance to play a few times here and even before all this new stuff was put up it was an awesome sight to behold. Now... I don't even know what to say. This place is Airsoft heaven. Were talking all sorts of terrain. I even think there's a riven there somewhere. Trails for tactical movements and ambushes. Not to mention the bunkers, towers, and all sorts of huts, houses, dugouts, and hiding spots. Also the actual motocross track for us to play on during Black Gold!

If you want an awesome place to play with great people by your side then come on out. You wont be disappointed!

I'll be there. The operation is going to be a great time. With all of the objectives to accomplish and the field layout, this thing could just be incredible. With over 200 people, I am positive that Op Black Gold could turn into one of GA's largest annual airsoft operations. I am thrilled to be a part of the operation and encourage anybody who wants to have a great time and play some seriously fun airsoft to come. This thing will just be down-right amazing. I will take on the role of leading the Daisy side, seeing as how I am "Red's grandson" in the scenario. Guys, we will dominate, simple fact.

Also, for anybody that lives in the area, you have the opportunity to have your thoughts put into reality. Give your advice and come out and help build, you might be eligible to earn a $100 credit towards playing on-site whenever you want too! (Just talk with 2old2moto-Joel).

Do yourself a service and come down and play on October 1st. This operation can be huge with your help.

well we got another building on (55ftx 32ft)the cqb complete but i forgot to take pictures to post so i will have some up next week

updates due too dry conditions no pyrotechnics(subject to change)....... any co2 or greengas grenades WILL BE allowed.... also pending on parts arrival we are supposed to have a tank coming

ok there have been questions about missions as with any military operation your squad leader will give you your orders when you arrive. the game will be on a points system we will have recon missions,rescue missions,kidnapping missions,building defense missions,overtaking stongholds etc. this is our first big game but not our first time playing airsoft We have traveled to other big games and we have an idea of what not to do I know we may have a few glitches but you will have a good time . Providing that the parts get here on time we will have a tank (usf side i think) The referees will be on atvs so they will be pretty mobile as to clear up any issues and collect and add points THIS IS A GAME OF HONESTY POLICE YOURSELF...............Just to put it out there all the paperwork was drawn up by an attorney. This not some one who just has some property and decided to have a airsoft game We also have an established motocross track, atv trails, mudbog, go cart track, and now a airsoft course THIS isn't our first rodeo

I fail to see how a CO2 operated airsoft grenade could cause a fire. I fail to see how a even a greengas operated grenade could start a fire without someone holding a flame directly on it while it detonated.

me neither thats why they ARE allowed read it again ...i am referring to smoke bombs due to the flame so let me post it again UNLESS IT RAINS NO DEVICE THAT PRODUCES A FLAME SUCH AS A SMOKE BOMB WILL BE ALLOWED i know it sux but we want this to be a airsoft game and not turn into a fire fighting mission

I'm actually considering coming out to this game. I drove by your field I believe when it was first becoming an airsoft field, looked pretty cool, especially with all the berms.

Yeah I think it would be a cool game to go to, hopefully my schedule will work out.

We still have the motocross track but we are closing it for the day. It will be the rebels base also i am parking some heavy equipment on the track for added cover and i haven't cut the grass/weeds so there are some tall weeds to hide behind. We got the second large building built and added some rooms inside since the above video was posted. I still have to put some more obstacles up at the buildings they are hard to attack but we have been adding stuff and then playing on it to see what works and what don't . Hopefully we will have it right before the op i want everyone to have a good time . I will try to get some more pics or videos posted tonight
