Re: Range Days
Im not a fan of other pistol grips. I like the standard grips just fine, so im not going to replace it.

Your weapon is on hot soldier. "Delta or no delta, that's a hot weapon."

The selector switch cannot be placed on safe if the trigger has been engaged. This is how you turn a weapon into the armory.

Re: Range Days
I never turned in a weapon like that. On SAFE with the bolt to the rear. The Armorer then checked it, released the bolt and pulled the trigger. So, yea, it ended up like that, but was never handed over like that.

We have to turn ours in disassembled so the armorers can check to make sure its clean.

Wow All I can think, is that at some time, some NCO('s) wasn't doing their job and letting Joe turn in dirty weapons. When stuff like that happens, <CENSORED>-hatery in the form of "stupid rules" ie. micromanagement, happens.

Yep. He will make one hell of a SGM some day. He will spend his down time at the PX where he always seemes to find Soldiers in desperate need of correcting.

Hey there they repealed Don't ask don't tell. Just got back from Texas, pretty boring but nice range days.
And here's me shooting a Mosin Nagant and an ACR (best gun I've ever shot so far).
