Re: KSC g18c gbb
how do i phrase this?
YES. ksc pistols are some of the most reliable pistols out there and the glocks are even more reliable, the only problems i have ever heard about them is about the selector switches, you should probably read up about those problems if you choose on buying one. i have 2 g19's and they have never failed.

Re: KSC g18c gbb
i have heard a lot of stuff about the fire selector, and i cant be sure about any of it becuase i dont have a g18c. but from his semiautomatic brother, the g19, i can tell you the firing mechanism will be reliable, and the gun will be durable and realistic feeling.Asia7th wrote:i have heard u have to pull back the slide back to change the fire selector

Re: KSC g18c gbb
yes you do have to pull it back a little, i just got mine and i love it, its the epic 27rps on green gas and its very accurate and when you'll have to pay more for a good tm g17 why not just get a g18 which is exactly the same except with the epic full auto. the only problems ive had with mine albeit it is only a month old, my only problems were the mag is a bit rattly , the hop up is impossible to adjust the way the instructions show, and the recoil spring isnt always strong enough. but the mag and spring are $20 fixesAsia7th wrote:i have heard u have to pull back the slide back to change the fire selector

Re: KSC g18c gbb
I would suggest keeping an extra air nozzle and blowback springs handy. I have broken at least 3 air nozzles on my KSC G19 and G18C over the years.

Re: KSC g18c gbb
I had a KWA g18 once. Had to order parts and use the guess and check method, until it came down to something I would have never thought was making the slide half cycle and expel all of the gas in the mag. The hammer spring was sheared off about a cm short where it rests on the auto sear, causing the auto sear to not go back to a full rest position which set off a chain reaction in many parts eventually binding the last one against the slide internals.
Extremely cool gun, but I will never recommend any G18 simply because they have WAY too many moving parts in them to break or become worn ALOT, and said moving parts are getting harder to come by, and when you do find them they are from HK and extremely expensive to ship a little piece of metal if thats actually whats wrong with it.
I also had a KWA G17 and it was nearly indestructable. A great gun, Very reliable, cycled smooth and fast, and very accurate. I loved it.
In my opinion get a new KWA, any model you like. Some of the BEST GBB pistols available.
Just my .02
