Re: multicam opnions?
Honestly, I like the first vest a lot more than the second vest, but that is just me. the second vest is more of a pin in the rear to adjust and can have trouble fitting it to you if your skinny like me.
The biggest problem with the first vest are that the buckles are weak and are prone to failure.

Crye Precision makes good gear, the second one. But if you have any questions, ask twitch. HE KNOWS EVERYTHING. gearwise.

Idk how skinny you are, but im pretty skinny...5'11' 145-145 pounds if that makes a difference. How prone are the buckles to fail?

Re: multicam opnions?
I used the first one a lot for 2 years and had no problems. It did take awhile to get it to fit right thought, but that is not a big deal, I am 6'1 and 155 pounds

Re: multicam opnions?
Had it for about a year, then the side buckle cracked. Still held together, but the fact that it cracked turned me off of any Condor products that utilize plastic buckles.

Re: multicam opnions?
Please, for the love of gear, do not spend $100-$150 on a Condor plate carrier. Here are some better options:
http://www.opticsplanet.net/tactical-assault-gear-banshee-rifle-plate-carrier.html
http://www.optactical.com/moplca.html
http://www.optactical.com/eainplcawicu.html
Purchase any one of these and you won't be disappointed. Nice gear can be had on somewhat of a budget. People don't realize this.

Re: multicam opnions?
the buckles are fine and the vest is pretty durable I am 5'7 and weigh 130 so it should fit you just fine depending on if you like a tight vest or a loose one

Re: multicam opnions?
I'm 5'11 and 155. the first vest will fit, while the second one will not fit as well.
Also, the buckles WILL CRACK AND FAIL. it is only a matter of time. Your call on that matter.

Ive had my Condor MBSS for about 3 years now and I just recently noticed that one of the buckles was cracked and missing pieces. Still works though.
