Re: A good cqb gun
I have never tried ICS, but I have heard a lot of bad things about them....If it was me I would stay away from ICS.
You could try an MP7. They are pretty good little guns for CQB. KWA makes a GBB one, while Tokyo Marui makes a pretty good electric version.
I believe G&G makes several variants of an MP5, as do various other companies. I wouldn't get anything from JG or Echo 1 though. Unless you plan on replacing the internals.
Just my two cents.

Dude I love mp5's I have one and it's just so ergonomically nice. The downside it SUCKS to take apart. When I say sucks.... it is terrible. If I ever want to get work done on my gun and I go to see Rhino he makes me do it because he doesn't want to fool with it. Now from what I understand there are better versions to get that take down easier. Rhino would be the one to ask about them though.

What about two of your favorite handguns, some mags and a dual pistol rig? I agree with you on the M4 issue. They're too common. If a pistol rig isn't your thing you could consider the following:
- A decent gas or spring shotgun. There are quite a few springers.
- An MP7 or MP9
- An AKS-74U,there are a few too.
- An MK.16 SCAR L CQB
- An FN2000
- A UMP-45
- An XM177E1 or XM177E2
- A Colt Model 607
- An Uzi,Mini Uzi or even a Micro Uzi
