Map for RIPTIDE, it is releaseable to both sides,
Insurgent forces: your objectives are green stars, your "?"s are your respawns (which are not necessarily in those areas on the map). Your "leaders" will be balloons at those respawns, if the respawn is attacked and the balloon popped, you no longer can respawn at that location (so be thoughtful coming and going from those).

Allies/US: You will start your retaking of the province from the admin/briefing area, moving towards your future spawn points marked as blue checkpoints, taking Green Objs nearby activates that nearby respawn.

At the regular field, call or pm me regarding detailed reasons. BLUF, everyone was supportive, but the unit level was not. Will talk to you in detail concerning future and purpose of this event. Other units are interested. But my time here at Benning is coming to an end and I will be moving on to Fort Stewart after May, so other officers are going to push the ball forward.

Nope, this one is just a day game. Get there at nine and leave at like at night or something. I don't know the exact end time. xD But I'm totally ticked off because I have to work....I work at an Airsoft Field, so everyone who works there plays. So everyone took off for Op riptide, and they're under staff. and the people who've been working longer get first dips on which days they want off, and since I just started. I'm at the bottom of the barrel. xD So guess who has to work the whole day on Op Riptide? D:

The Coalition (Allies) will be attacking back into the Region with the goal of retaking the province. One of the first goals is to retake the nearby village of Hilla just to the East of the ISAF/CF start point (Grid FA3014). We know that insurgents have a camp somewhere nearby supporting their efforts. The retaking of the village (locating the colored cone stack and stacking the ISAF/CF color on top of the Insurgent color) is how the village is taken. The enemy camp nearby prevents ISAF/CF forces from staging deeper in the province, so the camp must be found and destroyed (the balloons at the camp must be popped otherwise Insurgents can continue to spawn there). One that camp is destroyed, ISAF/CF can stage (spawn) at a nearby position. That doesn't mean that the village cannot be retaken only that the enemy ability to spawn close by has been destroyed.

ISAF/CF will continue attacking east thru the province retaking vital positions and elminating insurgent camps. Intelligence reports estimate that the enemy has a stronger positions eastward as ISAF/CF move east.

Doesn't this event take place in 2012 not 2011 and I will try to be there.

i'll be using our 300-320fps CQB guns. what's the MED's on those?
and what's the difference between the 400fps and assault 450fps? are they both full auto? 3 rnd burst?

I'm really really hating this terrorism uniform requirements. I dont have anything I can use. I could be good guys, but I dont wanna play "Shoot the bad guy" and pretty much just a event I dont have to try at. Make fleck terrorist!

Being as the terrorist are heavy outnumbered, not allowed any camo, this isnt going to be fun at all. It's just going to be a slaughter, honestly.

But hell, it makes it fun.

So far, every OP I've been too, the rebel forces have been outnumbered and still totally owned. With the exception of OP SOCO, because there was no 'rebel' forces, but we were apparently outnumbered in the first half. It's not really about the number, it's how good the players are. Normally at Airdog events, the same people who pick the rebel side always pick the rebel time and we end up winning. I think we can still pull through despite the number disadvantage. (:

My dad said he looked on the Ft. Benning website and found out that the game was canceled. Is this true? I was planning on going.

NO THE GAME IS NOT CANCELLED!

We have spent more than 5 hours prepping the field, we have raffle items as well provided by two of our sponsors.
