    Wire Harness Empty Wire Harness

    Post  Lone Wolf 23.03.09 18:17

I plan on upgrading the battery for my G36, but before I do so I need to buy some better wire.
Just some questions, I spaced it out for quote-ability:

Q: Would a store like Radioshack or Fry's sell Tamiya type plugs, (I plan on upgrading to large)?

    A:

Q: What is the guage and composition of low resistant wiring?

    A:

As for putting the harness together, it will be no big issue. However I will be buying a full Echo 1 V3 low resistant trigger wiring to replace the crappy wiring around my mechbox. I just need to create a new set to get more voltage-of-fury from my battery to my trigger.

As a side note, I'll probably be adding the round counter project in with this.

Any help or guidance will be appreciated greatly, Thanks

Just get some decent 16 gauge wire and replace all the stock wire you don't need a new assembly.

Oh and about those pos tamiyas, get some deans ultras.

Deans will get you a better current flow, but I put 12 guage through my G36K but it takes a little bit of modifications.

A: Yes, but as stated earlier, get Deans plugs. It doesn't make sense to rewire for low resistance and then put Tamiya connectors in. But remember that you'll either need to make a Deans-tamiya converter or rewire your charger(s) to Deans.

Q: What is the guage and composition of low resistant wiring?

    A: Get 14 or 16 gauge high-silicon wire. I'd recommend Dean's Wet Noodle

Ok thanks, I shall get Deans.

Im going to add, I had to do a shoddy repair to my trigger assembly. I had to solder wire back on it because it fell out of the connector. So im going to buy just the new assembly and rewire my motor.

    Thanks guys.
