also i have a back up g&g Gr16 blowback that i just re-shimed and fixed its about 6months old. would it be a good idea to swap the gears from the g&g with the gears in the echo 1?

nylon washers work fine if the gearbox is reinforced and doesn't need impact protection. some builds require more protection than others.
here's one that needed impact protection:
heavy spring and heavy piston on full auto.

oh that makes sense but what do you think about swapping the two sets of gears before i adjust the aoe?

it wont have any affect.
Also can you add a sorbo after AOE has been adjusted
