Cheaper version of the TM P90, has a different type of V6 gearbox, but I have heard good about them, but all Echo1 guns are normally pretty good, but you could probably get it cheaper from airdog.

Re: Echo 1 P90
One of my buds at work purchased this gun from Airdog for his kids b-day.It was the JG version which is basically the same as Echo 1
from what I understand. Anyway, I got to shoot it and I was impressed. Good ROF with stock battery, and effective range also pretty good.

Re: Echo 1 P90
JG doesn't make a P90. The Echo 1 is a KART rebrand. He probably is misinformed about the brand of the gun, which is understandable seeing as most E1's are JG rebrands.Q-bald wrote:One of my buds at work purchased this gun from Airdog for his kids b-day.It was the JG version which is basically the same as Echo 1

From my experience, it's not that great of a gun. A guy I know has one, and it's given him a lot of problems. The magazine isn't good at all, and his piston stripped after 20k rounds.
I'd personally recommend the CA sportline version. Deadrag did a review of it a while ago, and they said that it's really solid for a budget gun.

I don't think he was misinformed, I just assumed It was Jg. He probably didn't even ask what brand it was. His kid is like 9 and pointed at the gun and said "That one" because he thought it looked cool. This was about two months ago and I asked him the other day how the gun was shooting? He said no problems yet. But his kid does not Skirmish with it.

Re: Echo 1 P90
We have sold about 15 echo1 E90's with ZERO issues!! Just between store staff we have 4 of them all bone stock and all of them get used every single game with ZERO issues!!! They nice IMHO. We even have one that is HIGHLY upgraded in the rate of fire department and it does 54RPS with the stock mech box, stock spring guide, stock cylinder head, stock piston head.

Re: Echo 1 P90
My friend has one, and it's working out for him.
Though I would suggest holding one if you haven't already. Some people (including me) dislike the feel of bullpups (where the magazine is behind the trigger), and it's important to like to hold something that you'll be using a lot.

The gun is pretty good, I think. The only reason I didn't buy this gun, is the magazines. The only good ones are TM which, are a bit pricy for me.

We also have the solution to any mag issue or concerns. We have the echo1 P90 box mags in stock and they work FLAWLESSLY!

Ya, if you buy a box mag then those work pretty well. Some think they're ugly, but I think it adds a 21st century look to the gun.

Oh but I am gonna beat that 56rps soon, haha. But yeah all in all the E90 is a great gun for the price, so a piston MIGHT strip but thats what $20 maybe.

Re: Echo 1 P90
Yeah, I don't doubt that most people have good luck with it. Before his piston stripped, it was a nice gun except for the mag. But now that you've got the E90 box mag as well as AMP midcaps and TM highcaps, it's not that big of an issue. Although if I was getting one, I'd probably choose the CA over the E1. Just know that this is a LOUD gun! So if you use stealth as a big part of your gameplay, you may want to look at other oprions.

Re: Echo 1 P90
I don't mind it's sound, I'm just looking for a gun with good performance, and the ability to be easily upgraded. Plus I like the p90s look

Re: Echo 1 P90
If you're looking for upgradability, the CA might do better as far as parts compatibility is concerned. I've had problems with clones and parts compatibility.Yoggy wrote:I don't mind it's sound, I'm just looking for a gun with good performance, and the ability to be easily upgraded. Re: Echo 1 P90
Well I would like it to be good enough to play with stock for a while, but when I get the money, I plan on giving it a high speed set up.

Re: Echo 1 P90
YES. Like I said we have one at the shop that does 54rps.... Now it have a lot of money into it but you can certainly get one in the 25-30 rps with a turbo motor and battery. I am speaking from experience when I say we havent had any problems with the 15 we have sold.... Im not just trying to sell a gun.

Re: Echo 1 P90
Thanks for telling me that, cause that was the only thing keeping me from buying it, I disnt want it to break on me like my other gun did, now rhino, since you know from experience with the e90, is the stock rof pretty good? Cause I heard it was terrible, like 10 rps

Re: Echo 1 P90
It is higher than 10.... I have never tested one stock, but I can. If I get some time tomorrow I will. I would say they are on par with most other aegs. I dont think they are slower than any other, but again I havent done a test on a stock one. I will see if I can get it done for you tomorrow, But I do have a bunch of guns to get upgraded tomorrow.

Re: Echo 1 P90
Thank you if you can. That would be awesome. And last question, can the internals take a lipo stock? Cause I was thinkin aboutgetting one and a better motor ( like you said )

Re: Echo 1 P90
NO. I have not found a gear box stock that can take a 11.1 lipo! I have tested many "lipo ready" mech boxes and they have all failed within a few thousand rounds! you will need a high end piston to make it lipo ready. All other parts are good to go! We stock lipos, and matrix turbo / magnum motors.
