Hello and Happy New Year

What's up everybody?
My handle is vanevery
I am from NC and have been involved in organized airsoft since 2008 and did the backyard thing for a year before that.
I could be considered a KWA guy, but would not call myself a fanboy.
I am a frequent patron and contributor to the forums at kwausa.com

My goal for this year and the future is to branch out and meet other airsofters regionally. I have only crossed the NC border a few times for airsoft, but feel it's time to branch out. I look forward to travelling to GA for some games this year and if the NC vs GA game hosted by SC takes place, I will be there.

there's another one but i'm not sure of the name. this forum used to be very active with a ton of active posters but now there's a small handful of people left and pretty much the only things that get posted are about large games, for sale threads, and every now and then we get a thread like this where someone introduces themselves.

With the size and population of GA, I was expecting a buzz of activity.
Is airsoft not very popular in GA?
How many total airsofters do you estimate regularly go out and play?
Airsoft is huge in NC, and growing.
We have a few thousand players and a very active central forum at ncairsoft.org.

a lot of people went to facebook and liked 2 pages - airsofters of georgia and georgia airsoft community. on those pages are where you will see most of the activity. it's mostly a bunch of younger kids though. i think our airsoft population is mostly concentrated up north towards all the cqb fields so i'm not sure how many people show up at those fields on an average day. I've gone before and it seemed like they had around 100 whenever i went. south of atlanta on a typical day we only get like 30 or maybe 40 on a typical day. overall i think our airsoft population is decreasing though
