The E46 330Ci is actually one of my favorite BMWs. But, fail points for having an automatic transmission.
And, for the love of all that is good in the world, don't rice out a BMW, please. The bumper and black wheels are already a bit much in my opinion, but please don't go putting running lights and a spoiler on it. For one thing, the resale value will suck because 99% of people buying older BMWs don't want that crap on them.
I actually want to find either an early 2000s 330Ci or even a new 135i or 335i Coupe when I graduate college in a few years or just when I have the money and decide its time to buy my own car. I drive my dad's old '86 535i with a 5-speed now. Nice car, really reliable, runs great, handles and drives great, and it has about 230,000 miles on it and still going strong. Can't hardly beat that. My dad drives an '88 M6 with a 5-speed. That is one nice car, and it is fast (sounds good too
).
Here's some pictures.
It is my dad's car, but I'll try to remember what he has for it.
BBS OEM 17" 2-piece wheels (originals were metric) with Pirelli P-Zero Nero tires.
3-Spoke M steering wheel off of an '89 I believe. Original was a bulky airbag wheel.
