Re: My Next Gun?
Yeah, the LR-300 is definately a good stock gun. The externals are very nice for a MPEG as well. The stock on it isn't accurate to the one that comes on the real-steel, but that's minor.
By the way, your signature is too long. It's a 3-inch limit, so change the text size.

Type (without the underscores) [_size=9]Then your sig text here[_/size], and it will look like Your text here

Re: My Next Gun?
thanks it worked and say I really wanted to amp it up and I put a matrix magnum motor in there how well will the internals be able to handle it?

Re: My Next Gun?
It should be able to take it, but just keep an eye on the piston. You also might want to put a Prometheus/systema bucking +hnub or a firefly bucking if you're looking for range.Airsoftguy238 wrote:thanks it worked and say I really wanted to amp it up and I put a matrix magnum motor in there how well will the internals be able to handle it?

Re: My Next Gun?
I did not replace the stock barrel but I did polish it...tried the prometheus hard and Guarder buckings and chose the Guarder. You will definitely want to take a look at the stock motor before you order a replacement . . . I think you will be VERY surprised. I have a matrix magnum . . . this is every bit as adept. I also have an A&K SPR Mod 0 and that is the same motor but I have an m140 on it and it does not slow it down AT ALL!

I don't know about the hopup design, though I'd say probably yes.Airsoftguy238 wrote:its a standard m4/m16 hop up right? and how big of a difference does the bucking and nub really make?
The bucking/nub will make a HUGE difference. More so than a tightbore in my experience.

Standard all metal hop-up . . . that is THE biggest variable IMHO . . . gotta get that combo right to get the most accuracy.

Re: My Next Gun?
BEST would be a firefly bucking and a firefly nub, but that'd cost you $35.
Failing that, get prometheus + bigout Hnub.
Failing THAT, get Systema + bigout hnub.

Re: My Next Gun?
Yep...they do...
Firefly is great but pricey
Prometheus is great and $15
Guarder (black) is my next choice and $8
Systema is good and about $8 too

Re: My Next Gun?
No, not an hnub. You need the firefly nub, which is flat on the bottom.Airsoftguy238 wrote:So a firefly bucking and hub would be how much
Idk how much it would be at airdog, but at AA it's around $35 for the firefly bucking and firefly nub.

Re: My Next Gun?
I have the short . . . Alpine has the long . . . the long appears to have a longer inner barrel by about 3" but I have not pulled and measured both.Airsoftguy238 wrote:Looks like a good review on it I heard that the long one has the same inner barrel length is this true?
