CQB action at Paintball-Outfitters on the James Town Field Sunday May 3rd 2009 1:30-7:00pm. Some of the games on tap: Tooth & Nail, Special Delivery (suitcase game) Death Match w/ 1 player deployment, Start The Countdown (play test game) Input welcome after game.
400fps.
Players 15 or younger must be accompanied by an adult (No Drop Offs) and wear a full face shield.
Players 16 or older can wear airsoft safe goggles. I have a pair of goggles and a full face shield as part of my kit.I would advise wearing the latter on any James Town field games.
We try to stick to a 10ft minimum engagement distance. If you close on somone, Please don't light them up on full auto. Single tap the trigger if it looks like they are not going to surrender. The bb's get to you a lot faster on a CQB field than on a bigger field. Keep that in the back of your mind before setting foot on the field.
Everyone who plays aifsoft knows that the honor system is a big part of the sport. CQB games ramp up the level of intensity and get the adrenaline going pretty quick. Sometimes players get hit and keep playing, it happens. If a ref asks you to leave the field, it's probably because he saw the hit take place due to close proximity. CQB games play pretty fast, factor in unlimited re-spawns and you will be back on the field before you know it. There are also some games that require players to look away from the opposite teams side of the field for a brief period of time. Honor the honor system and don't look. Make the experience enjoyable for everyone.
