Alright guys, I have a Tokyo Marui Aug Civilian. Right now it currently has installed

    -Metal Bushings
    -New Shims
    -Systema Polycarb Piston
    -G&P explosive bearing piston head
    -Systema bearing spring guide
    -"Matrix" m120 Spring
    -Guarder Cylinder Head
    -Madbull 509mm tight bore 6.03

I was thinking about putting in a lipo battery for use. I have found a set of Element High Speed Gears for $20. I was just wondering what you guys have heard about them if anything. Is there anything else I should think of adding to accommodate for a lipo battery? Thanks

Sounds pretty good, I would go with some better high speed gears though, like the systema ones.

Element gears are nice, but they can be loud if shimming is subpar

lol, I figured you guys would reply with something like that. I guess I am asking if anyone has had any problems with element gears.

The reason I am asking is cause I need a buttplate for the gun. So, I can get the buttplate and the gears for $30 as a deal.
Oh yeah, I have heard that the element high speed don't have a different ratio, but they are just stronger than stock gears. I'm cool with that, anyone hear that??

Yea if your fine with re-inforced gen. ratios. Thats misleading to have a higher speed they need to have a different ratio set or else they are just reinforced gen ratio. But I don't know who claimed that they were only Gen ratio so maybe. Just remember to do a proper shim job.

I have never had problems with element gears and I have used the high speed gears a few times. They worked fine for me.
