The Rain Game 5/16/09

copy that we tried to get the games rolling as fast as we can but it's the players that need to double time.well get it together soon as to get everyone on board to listen for the call of duty.But today was awesome thanks to all who made it out.

Hey whats up everyone?
For everyone that was at the game today thanks for coming it was pretty fun, despite the rain, well making everything not as fun I still had a great time. One of the best airsoft moments I had was today, when we came from northbase, took the barn and almost took zombie base. Thanks to Agressor Dog, Crazy Twitch and others that I dont know their names that were with us!

Oh yeah. Unless it's raining so hard that your BB's are falling out of the air, I absolutely love playing in the rain, even more than sunshine.
Sounds like a good game. Pity I wasn't able to make it.

I had a great time, especially in that last game. Thanks for giving me that suppressive fire airsoftguy238! We barely pulled out that win, but we WORKED for it. Gotta admit, PWNY Express had Zombie base on lockdown for a while, they were the last thing we had to overcome to win. The only bad thing about today was the fact that everyones effective range dropped severely due to the rain, I ended up having to get in really really close to take people out, I maybe broke the MED once...sry.....

yeah agg, im pretty sure we had our fair share of rainy firefights today, i still wish i could have hit you through the cracks in the barrel on our push,
and crazy twitch led me to wasting half my box mag tryin to keep his head down so our team could stay alive over all

This game was awesome. First game in the rain and I gotta say that I loved it, except the part where I busted my butt in the mud by the tower, spent a good hour getting the mud out my gun. Good run on that last game aggressor dog.

This is the first time I played in the rain for any length of time and it was fun. I only had one kill on the day, but I did manage to get buddy (the pilot) over to the zombie base to give red team the win. Thanks for the cover fire fellow red team members. I got knocked out of the last game by Agressor Dog, but I would have loved to see the final minutes of that match from a decent vantage point. Blue did a great job of flanking red in the final game. Goob job blue. All in all I think most people honored the honor system today and that always makes for a good day of airsoft. Good job boys, and girls too.

I only saw one guy not calling their hit, opposed to the 10+ I see at most games, and there were girls playing?

Yes, we (red) had a young lady on our team. She dug in pretty good during the first game and was slinging some pretty good plastic right along with the guys.

This game was sick. I loved playing in the rain.

In that last round, I climbed a tree and had the south side of zombie base locked down for a good 10 minutes. I was one of the last red guys out because blue moved out of my range and I had to climb down from the tree and go engage them.

Amazingly no one saw me climb up the tree, no one saw me in the tree, and no one saw me climb down the tree! And I got at least 10 kills from that position haha.

Thanks Aggressor Dog! It was awesome playing with you guys. You had great leadership on the other side of the field. I'm so happy to play with people that like to step up and do something rather than just go hide and be scared haha. I had a great time. R u going to be at this next Op that airdog is hosting?

And great game blue team. Sure put up a fight. Twitch being a quarter back in the tree haha.

i think ive played 90% of all airsoft games in the rain.

props to Airdog staff for running it so well.

She is usually at the games(I think she brings her brother) she dosen't say much but she always seems to be ready to sling some plastic.

I think you guys did a great job getting the games going, and i am very happy you decided to keep playing instead of calling off the game for rain. I was refering to the lunch break.

Thanks guys for coming to the rain game and making the best of the conditions.
We came close to calling the game due to safety concerns and continued as long as we could.

It was a great game with lots of intense game play.
I did not think blue, was going to get the pilot to Zombie base at the last game.
The efforts and team work between SOTHG and PWNY was great!

I hope everyone had a great time and we will see you guys at our scenario game this weekend!
