Tactical Belt with a pouch or two and a drop pouch.

Cargo pants, like 5.11s with the discreet mag pockets

I'd say get a drop leg rig or tactical belt+pouches.

You can get a MOLLE one and add pouches. I think that an AUG mag is around the same size as an M16 STANAG mag?Markerscope1 [SOTHG] wrote:thanks.

A tactical belt works well, like the one I have, its very comfortable and the drop pouch makes changing magazines a breeze.

Re: carrying mags without a vest
I just started running a belt and drop pouch arrangement with H-harness . . . I like it better than a vest too . . . though the jury is still out on the H-harness
Have mag pouches on the left leg, pistol on the right, and a drop pouch in back.
In this kind of weather it is cooler than running with a vest too . . . IMHO

Yeah, you can get an ALICE belt and ALICE M16 pouches for pretty cheap too at a surplus store. It'd be like 20-$30 for a setup, depending on what all you want.

Get a couple of leg rigs mark. They work really well. You guys know I lay down a lot, and whenever I need to change a mag the first mag to come out is from my leg rig because they are a breeze to change.
