AIRDOG Airsoft is proud to host another big event at our AREA-13 field.
Our last event attracted about 54 players. We are expecting bigger numbers or more for this event!
The game is code named OP: TACFORCE and will be based on terrorist vs. commandos.
This game will be filled with objective based game play and is intended for team based activities.

    When: 01/24/09 10AM ~ 5PM
Where: AREA-13 (AIRDOG Airsoft store field, Newnan, GA)
    640 Kelly Farm Rd.
    Newnan, GA 30265
Cost: $10 field fee, Rental packages available

    Game Guidelines / Information
    - This is a bring your own BB event.
    - 420 FPS for AEG, 500 FPS for sniper type rifles (chrono conducted with 0.20).
    - Proper eye protection is required. Full sealed goggles or full face masks are required.
    - Younger players (<14) are encouraged to wear full face masks.
    - Minimum engagement distances and field rules will be enforced.
    - Please bring a kill rag! (bandana or cloth in red or blue color is preferred).
    - BBs, mags, guns and accessories will be available for purchase from the AIRDOG mobile store.
    - Food and beverages will also be available for purchase during the event.

Additional information can be found in the Field Ops section at www.airdogairsoft.com.
The AIRDOG staff will start the player briefing promptly at 10:00 AM.
We are recommending players arrive 15 ~ 30 minutes before the game to register, chrono, and gear up.
Please take a minute to review our general field rules, waiver and check out the pics from our previous games!
It is recommended that you complete the AIRDOG waiver from our website and bring it to the game.
This will help expedite the registration process.
Contact ZarTan72 (AIRDOG Field Ops Mgr) if you have any questions.

Is there an age limit? I'm looking to get my younger brother out to a field. I think I've heard somewhere that you guys allow younger players, but I can't remember.

Our age limit is 12 with an adult present.
We welcome younger players, but they are sometime prone to getting hurt.

That's too bad. He won't be 12 until May.
    I'll probably be there though.

We are trying to make Area 13 a place for all to play just make sure if the little one comes out with you if you are not 18 your parents will have to be present to sign him in.Just wanted to let you know that so he does not have to sit on the side line.

Bring him to the game and keep close watch while on the field.
Our primary concern for < 12 is for the safety of younger players.

I realize I told you guys at the first build day that I wouldn't be able to make it to the game since I'll be in college, but what with gas prices so low, I am considering driving down to play. The field is going to be awesome and really I miss airsoft... Crying or Very sad

Will grenades be fair game in any of the scenarios for this or future events?

since most of you are still out there playing, let me be the first to say RED TEAM OWNED!!!!!. Thanks to the Airdog crew for putting on an incredibly well put together and organized game. It was a blast.

Alpine, you have got quite a feild set up and I look forward to bringing the pain there many more times. Sorry about the yard though, I hope you aren't the type that is incredibly protective about your grass.

Alright here goes my criticism. The whole day people where not calling hits!!!!!! I have never attended a game before where it was this bad and i have been playing for 5 years. I know im not the only one who felt this as it was a bit redicoulas(sp). That being said there should be some kind of call out system gone over at the briefings maybe and some kind of penalty if you get caught cheating (ie caught on camera getting hit and not calling out).

Now the next problem i had was not switching sides enough,i was on red and we were stuck at the bottom base for most of the day. I don't know about you guys but i think every game the spawns should be swapped. This leads to the next thing i noticed. When playing the bottom spawn i felt as if the top spawn had greater advantage. It felt as though they had more cover and bunkers in general to there advantage to flank etc..

Imo i felt there was just to many people at the field for its size. There was almost no where to flank and it was force on force battles and who ever had the better gun won. There was like 5-6 people at every bunker and nobody would move and for the most part there was really no where to go. This could be fixed by just adding more bunkers i guess as the field size cant be expanded it seems. Maybe an online registration system could be implimited and have a number of players capped as the word gets out im sure more people will attend and lead to making it worse.

Take this for what you want. I will probably think of more as time goes on. I will say though i still had a really great time.

Umm move this to the topic in tactics and stories. Lets try and make one unified post so we dont have to search across the forum to see what other people thought.

Thanks Zartan! Very Happy Very Happy

But yea the only problem i had was people not calling hits and those who were hit in an single life deathmatch game would just go back to their spawn and come back. Firby saw this the last game b/c he tolds us how only a little number or blues walked out. Firby was just chilling at the loading area. But I thought it was an AMAZING first game for the newly built structures. Like Firby said, maybe just a little more bunkers can be added to the field. If another work day is coming up, then were in. Keep giving us some great airsoft games airdog! cheers cheers

The day rocked . . .definitely some folks who don't call hits which leads to those shooting them not to call if they get shot by someone that they have already shot and then watched while they just walked back into cover and came back out somewhere else.
The kill rags make it hard for folks to get away with that so I hope we can get folks using them.
All this will work out and I am glad nobody got torqued . . . it was huge fun!
