I havent done a whole lot of shooting so bear with me, but my favorite is the Springfield XD Sub-Compact 9mm.

well real weapons, I've shot just about everything you can find in a safe today along with numerous pistols...... Fun, I like the Ak47 the best...

were you able to shoot a fully automatic Kalashnikov? (I love that word. It just rolls off the tongue so nicely.)

nah, I shot the semi automatic but I've shot fully automatic m4s and m16s along with some automatic pistols which were crazy to control.
ya i hope to shoot one sometime my neighbor has a full auto ak47 but u didnt hear that from me lol

It is not illegal to have a fully automatic AK47 assuming you have your class 3 federal firearms license. Even suppressors are legal at with a class 3.

The hardest part is simply the paperwork involved in getting it. If you have a clean background, then it won't be that hard, just time consuming.

Isn't it also rather expensive to have a Class 3 license? I heard that the annual fee was upwards of 200$....

Dont you need some kind of clearance for a class 3? I could have sworn you did.

For a class 3, basically your record has to be spotless, and its $200+ and then some for other fees. My dad looked into it before. He said its not really worth it, because the full auto guns are crazy expencive. I was talking to a local tactical gun shop owner. He has his class 3, and just paid $15,000 for a MP5.

It is possible to find MP5s cheaper than that. You do not need special clearance for a class 3, you only need to have a clean record. And having a class 3 is not for everyone. It is mostly for collectors because it is rather expensive. I spend a lot more than $200 plus a year on ammo when I go shooting though, so $200 for something of that nature really is not that expensive. Yes, there are a few other taxes and fees the government makes you pay, but for someone who wants full auto weapons, it is worth it. As I said before though, it is not for everyone.

it was probably only $1500 not 15000. I have never seen a gun for that much, unless we want to talk about advanced artillery and tank cannons.

AR15s are getting to that price, as in the AR15s that are Semi Automatic...And I'm talking about a MP5, with Semi-Burst-Full modes of fire.

Look at the best answer. I wasn't too far off, and the extra 4 grand could have been from extra fees.

if you look hard enough on some of the sites that sell firearm related things, some of them have gun classifieds for people who want to sell them. $15000 is acctually VERY good for a MP5. most of them go for 18-25 grand.

I have shot A LOT of different guns in my short lifetime but my 3 favorite would have to be the P90 (you can rent them at a indoor range down in Brunswick), my ak47, and a AR Bushmaster .50 BMG (personnel #1).

It's called gun shows... in ga u can buy any gun at a gun show. My dad was even bartering over a M249 at a gun show (didnt buy it tho Evil or Very Mad ) and he only has a class 2 (for now). And plus (WP Radar) it is very cheap, im talking Ak's for 600 and M16 with 5 clips for 2000
