Sore Throat Cures

First off happy 4th to everyone, but for the past two days I've had a mad sore throat. And today I'm going to a party with hundreds of people and I want to feel my best there. So I was wondering if anyone here had any good cures for my throat.

You may have Strep.the only cure is antibiotics. You may be able to cover symptoms with Cloraseptic spray?

Lol, I wouldn't be surprised if I had strep last year I had it 7 times

Alright alright back on topic. Anyone else got cures?

Cloraseptic spray is the only thing that is going to help you right now. It won't cure it but it will help to dull the pain and coarse feeling.

Is your nose runny? If so, your throat is just sore because you have a cold, and the bacteria-filled saliva is running down the back of your throat. Take an antihistamine. If not, it's something else, idk. Drink lots of cool water. And brew up some tea, mix in some honey, wait for it to get almost lukewarm, and drink it. Works for me 90% of the time.

Agreed. Milk generally exacerbates the problem. I like ginger ale. It always makes me feel better lol.

Ginger Ale is like pebto bismol for me, it makes me feel better when I'm naseus(sp) cause it just well comes right back out

Ginger is actually commonly used to settle upset stomachs.

Yeah I know but my stomach doesn't quite work well with things that help settle it ironically
