I'm looking at getting a SCAR L for my next gun but I can't decide between brands. I am looking at G&G, VFC, and star. Feel free to add you input on the ones I'm looking at already or to suggest another brand.

Seen that already. I was looking for other opinions, not those of AATV. On top of that, they had nothing to say about the G&G.

Well, if the gearbox in the G&G is close if not better than their Combat Machines, I'd say thats my pick.

VFC. VFC has 7mm ball bearings, and nice piston and gears. The VFC also has some of the best externals, but all of them have excellent externals. The STAR/ARES SCAR has parts compatibility issues, and I'm not 100% convinced on the polycarbonate gearbox. Plus, the VFC comes with two different inner/outer barrels. So you can either convert it or sell one of the tightbores.

Ares is a metal gearbox but I would not consider it! They have issues!

Re: Which SCAR to buy?
Reed is about to do a review on the WE SCAR. I'd see what he says about it.

Your method does seem to be slightly easier lol. But I always enjoy a good challenge. We'll see how many mags I destroy before I figure it out lol. Hopefully none

That's not the part I'm concerned about. I'm more concerned that the input pressure from the tank would be too high for the gun, so I'm wondering if I would need to install another inline reg in the magazine.

Tempting. I want to hear what Reed has to say about the WE before I commit to anything because I would really like a gbb so I can convert it to external air but I will let you know.

Re: Which SCAR to buy?
Yea it should come next week around Wednesday or Thursday. The few videos that WE has of it on youtube make it look pretty legit but I will see. I am not sure however if they are sending me the Co2 version or the regular GG version.

Either one they sell you I'd give you 20 bucks for it after you make the video.
