externals are awesome, stock performance is good, only con is the stock wiring in the stock is a little long usualy have to trim it back some and remove the fuse.

Unless you were dead-set on a SCAR, I'd get the KWA. The VFC's externals would maybe edge out the KWA though.Asia7th wrote:would u suggest this over the KWA sr12?sniper2525 wrote:externals are awesome, stock performance is good, only con is the stock wiring in the stock is a little long usualy have to trim it back some and remove the fuse.

Isn't the KWA sr12 cheaper? I think they're both great, but I've really been a that into scars, but maybe it's just a girl thing, but I say go for the KWA! Because I know if the scar breaks down, it's hard to find parts~

Only some external parts are hard to find but usualy most out of country places have them. Internals are standard v2 except for selector plate.

I would 100% go for any vfc over kwa but thats me. Vfc externals are slightly better although kwa is almost as nice.

I know kwa can a 11.1 lipo Ive had one in my kwa sr7 for months and still runs like a champ.I'm pretty sure u can use a lipo also in a vfc but your risking your internals throughing in a 11.1

Re: Vfc scar l
thats not going to last long most likely the stock plastic bushings will go out, contacts will burn up, and the junk vfc motor will burn up. Vfc scars can NOT HANDLE A LIPO STOCK!

Gears suck, piston is not all that great and the External parts are IMPOSSIBLE to find in the states! They must be ordered from china! I would not get it if it was me. Plastic bushings also suck! wiring is terrible.

Re: Vfc scar l
feeding issues if not related to mags is usually caused by the tappet plate timing. make sure the tappet plate isn't rubbing on sector gear or gearbox guides. some o-ring nozzles may be too tight which can cause the tappet plate to move too slow. modding the tappet plate spring may fix this (don't forget to lube the nozzle).
sector gear may not be pulling the tappet plate far back enough. sector gear delayer or other spacer mods can fix this. avoid SHS or king arms tappet plates. for some odd reason, guarder or other TM nozzles don't fit it.
if you have a two piece hopup, look up into the magwell for alignment issues.
as for the VFC scar, the OP already purchased an echo1 scar-h and sold it.
