If I remember that area right, there were some large retail shops that shut down there . . . can only presume it occupies a full storefront like one of the grocery stores that closed . . . can you do some recon for us since they have no pics of the storefront??NJSC wrote:orly? because I am 3 miles from this place.

Their FPS Limit is 400
Full face mask recommended but not required
Long sleeve shirt required
NO Mesh goggles!
Im sure these rules will change soon as someone will bleed.

Yes full seal goggles of any kind are acceptable. And face-pro is optional
Look into the "Breacher Mask" that Tinman has developed rather than the "Iron Face"
As the Breacher is much more comfortable.

Re: New Indoor CQB Field
OK ...while we wait on Grasshopper's review here are some Quotes from people who have been.
"Just stopped by SS Airsoft to see the place- I was greeted by about 3 people before the door shut behind me, and within 15 seconds (literally) had a guided tour of the field since a game had just ended. After than, I had a nice chat with Kenny, one of the head honchos. Everyone is nice and very enthusiastic about being there.
Fewer square feet than GE, but what the field lacks in quantity it more than makes up for in quality. The "scenery" is top notch, fabricated for the field- not a bunch of improvised barricades. It is diverse and interactive- I didn't feel like I was on a chess board or in a speedball arena. It certainly has a fitting "feel" to it. Kenny mentioned that they will be investing in a sound system for music and sound effects, allowing the stationary guard-tower ref to mix some "battle music" as the games run.
The show room is well furnished and professional. If there were a corporate franchise of airsoft facilities, they would look like SS Airsoft.
I am definitely looking forward to playing there- It took about 20mins to get there from Norcross"
"ok guys i been here twice now and the place is awesome field is awesome store is too and great owners. The field does look like a third world country and it is awesome. Though fps rules are stayin at 400 for now bc the guns they sale shoot more than 350 out of the box and oya no bb higher than .30 grams idk and some more rule we stayed there till about 1130 - 1200 friday night coming up with rules and debating about rules and all that junk but overall it is a pretty awesome place i mean georgetown is still my homefield and i love that alot more too bc im not adjusted to cqb yet but for a indoor field it is beastand ill be out there tomorrow too hope to see some of yall"
"I went today and was overly impressed. there was a good number of people probably in the 45 -55 range. The refs did a good job of reinforcing safety ie. mask on in battle field, gun condoms on, and so on. there were around 10 to 15 younger kids like 13 and under and there were no problems. walking around the place all i heard was how much better this place was than gold eagle.
this place has massive support already and even more potential."

AAR from this place says "Full face mask is mandatory" but they do rent high quality masks.

Indeed Tinman.
Her are a few pics that someone from PSA took. Word is that the guy who designed the arena was a set designer for Universal Studios. https://s4.photobucket.com/albums/y134/greenhornet95/Airsoft/SSAirsoft/
