USAF firearms training
I was buying my first Airsoft piece at Airsoft Atlanta when I noticed a young man behind me wearing BDUs. Upon closer inspection I noticed he had all the right stuff for an Air Force two striper. I asked him if he was really in the Air Force and he was.

I told him that when I was in the AF circa 1972-76, we had one day of weapons training with the M16. I shot 90 rounds. He confirmed that nothing has changed in 40 years, that was the same training he got last year.
Interesting huh?

funny, but from what people in the Air Force tell me they don't get a lot of weapons training.

Talking to a few guys who have done air force officers training and my cadre (not sure about enlisted)that weapons training doesn't is not a big part compared to other branches.
