ACZ game 6/30/2012

I think that Airdog's should have a ACZ game on a Friday. So I think if anyones going to have a game at Airdogs ACZ field, it should be a Friday game. I'd quite like that alot.

Also, my dad's the best sponsorship there is 8DD

Well congratulations on being charitable, but that's not the point. The point that was being made is if business is having a "fundraiser" it should be for something that needs fundraising. BB gun wars really doesn't need fundraising. If lets say your team was holding an OP that AD was facilitating and proceeds were going to an actual 501 c(3) organization, or to donate to a kid who needs surgery and his parents can afford it then that's something to rally around.
And this idea of hating on a specific team is a little off base. No one is hating on the team. Heck I can't even remember what the team name is. What people are disagreeing on is a fundraiser for a group of kids who don't have a need.
Sponsorship, if that exists between this team and airdog, hey that's fine. Alex lets take your motorcycle racing experience. If you didn't have the money for a new helmet would road atlanta hold a fund raiser for you? You're comparing apples to oranges here.

My team had a fundraiser to raise money for uniforms. We all wanted to look like a team, and half the team couldn't afford or couldn't get the money from there parents. So we had two car washes and are currently setting up a yard sale next week. Plus, My team is also a sponsored team, but were not fully sponsored, we just get discounts and free play at the sponsor's field in exchange for representing.

There's nothing wrong with playing in jeans, but Milsim player love their gear! unless i'm rebel forces, I don't wear jeans. Honestly, I've played in jeans before, and it's just not as fun and doesn't protect your legs nearly as well.

it looks like apex will be getting paid to ref and help run the game.
it does not make a difference what they spend there wages on
i think it was more that apex is working this game and giving all or part of it to there team members who need to buy gear.
its not a charity its players helping players

The first two pages of this feed give me a headache, dagger and their groupies, what has Apex done to you and what is wrong with the gear we like to run? As said before we wear jeans because we can. Alex, poop, thanks for your support

Strange Twitch...you are not that far from where I was, yet we never got higher than the 80's. It was some of the BEST weather, on hand, almost every day, that I have ever enjoyed. A-STAN ROCKS!!!!

but anyway, Apex is just being paid to work at the game, there is no charity involved...

that being said im new to Airsoft but the Idea of people helping other people in the same realm of things is not a new one
