I just wanted to ask people what their favorite rifles are, as I am an avid shooting enthusiast, and and shoot regularly.

I will start. My personal favorite rifle that I own is my Rock River Arms Varmint A4. I have a harris bipod on it and a Zeiss 3-12x56 Diavari scope. I am also a huge fan of the CheyTac M200 and would love to one day have an opportunity to shoot one.

Keep in mind that my favorite rifle is only coincidentally something I own, and that is only because of the extensive amount of performance upgrades I have put into it. I simply want to know what you like, whether it be based on appearance, reputation, experience, etc.

Without a doubt, I have found it to be a very effective varmint caliber.

I am more interested in long arms than handguns. M4s are always fun though.

Agreed....Also one of the most fun I've had shooting was with a black powder rifle. I think it was the whole work for you shot that made it fun. After a while you get fast at it.Just think about how fast the did it in the civil war. Their life depended on it.

I know this my sound kinda wimpy, but my favorite guns to shoot are 22's. You can shoot all day at very littel expence and not be sore the next day. They are great for way to sharpen your shooting skill. We often set up quarter size targets at 25yrds for practice, its hard to see in fixed sites. If you get good at that I feel you get enough confadace to shoot larger cal. at greater distance. I like the lever actions for the simplicty and and the differant rounds you can use ie. long, short, low powder, and rat shot. The rugger 10/22 has got to be the coolest 22cal. out there also very simple simi design. I am also a fan of the olde but goody M14.

.22's are a whole lot of fun. I can remember having a pump action .22 and being 12 years old and racking it pretending it was a mossberg 500 shooting old spent shotgun shells. Ah to be 12 again.

I love the AUG, never fired it though =(. i'm just a big fan of bullpup and polymer designs.plus the AUG has very simple and fast disassembly and barrel change
people say the aug cant be accessorized like the m4, this man begs to differ.Favorite Rifle/rifles Auginuse09

That's quite possibly the ugliest loadout I have ever seen... now listen to me. I'm normally the one who makes fun of airsofters for wanting to have "matching outfits," look cool, and play army. I think tonight I have embarrassed myself. Embarassed
