Interesting modification, lack of gasblock doesn't do it much justice however. Kind of like having a toy car with no engine in it, not neccessary for the function of the replica, but still good thing to have on their for the sake of its purpose on its actual counterpart.

True, but I had to put a new outre barrel on it and it just wouldn't go along with the gas block. A small sacrifice for a greater cause (hopefully)

The original hand guard wasn't metal, so no loss, but a gain of an RIS system and an easier battery installation, not to mention that you won't find to many people with an LR300 with an RIS system, so awsome customization.
