Multicam by far. The best camo pattern to date, hands down.

^The best all-purpose pattern to date.
I've found that it really depends on your environment. If you're playing in an area with a lot of dense green foliage, go with MARPAT, or tigerstipe if it's really dense.

I'll probably stick with Multicam because it is so versatile!

Re: Best Camo???
Woodland
Heavy Pines (More Movement)- Woodland BDUs
Heavy Pines (Less Movement)- Woodland MARPAT
Heavy Oak (little-no folage)- UCP/ACU (omg I know, but it works against the light color bark of the oak)
Thick Folage- Woodland BDUs
Urban
Light Color Buildings- Desert MARPAT, Possibly ACU
Dark Color Buildings- Negitive or Subdued ACUs
Snow and Dark Builings- 3 Color Urban (thats nasty)
Desert
Sandy (little or no folage)- Desert MARPAT
Sandy (more folage)- 3 Color Desert/DCU
Rocky (Tan Colored Rocks)- 3 Color Desert/DCU, Desert MARPAT
Rocky (Granite Rocks)- UCP/ACU (Granite Quarry=Win for ACU)
Multicam works good about anywhere, but it doesn't work great because it's pattern isn't set on one specific enviorment.

Re: Best Camo???
Just have multiple camos for different environments, I have like 7 sets of different types of camos. But for the most part I like Desert Marpat and DCU in the fall when the leaves are orange and fallen. In the summer when its thickly wooded, I wear BDU and Marpat. And in the winter I usually wear anything, cause there is nothing on the trees to conceal your movement anyways.

Re: Best Camo???
Marpat is the best concealing camo I have ever worn, I had somebody within three feet of me and not even notice me, and I'm 6'5", I would definately go with Marpat.

Re: Best Camo???
If your funds allow it, try and go for maybe a marpat and multicam set. That pretty much would give good concealment in most enviroments in my opinion.

Re: Best Camo???
In my experience, Multicam is the best for lighter woodlands and arid areas. MARPAT is by far the best mid to dark woodlands camouflage. Either one would be a good choice for Georgia.
Like Twitch said If you can get both do it and see what you like. I wouldn't however worry about any other type of camo. If your on a budget however, either get some used MARPAT or MC or you could just go with the standard woodland BDU.

Re: Best Camo???
If your playing at a field like Area-13 (airdogs field) i would go with a digital woodland, or MARPAT. . . ACU doesnt blend as well there. I currently have regular woodland but im going to be getting some MARPAT soon, check ebay. Just make sure its a good quality.

Re: Best Camo???
For our area I would say MARPAT then Multicam. As said before multicam is lighter and we play in denser stuff.

Re: Best Camo???
OD is going to be the most versatile color you can get for your vest, it works well with most patterns. It also will blend better with your future MARPAT.

Re: Best Camo???
actually, a tan vest would go really good with MARPAT. I am in a Marine based team and we all have Khaki/Tan Chest rigs.Zero wrote:OD is going to be the most versatile color you can get for your vest, it works well with most patterns. It also will blend better with your future MARPAT.

Re: Best Camo???
If your getting MARPAT OD is almost always the wrong choice. Tan will work much better with MARPAT and Coyote Brown will be even better but much more expensive and harder to get.
Look at the link you sent us. They're all wearing tan or CB.

I know they look different color, but they are REAL GENUINE MARPAT. and maybe a hat to go with it

You'll end up saving money
edit: actually they are fake. They are TRU SPEC. which fades and tears really easily

Dont hate on Tru Spec. I have Tru Spec Mc and it has never ripped and hasn't faded at all. Ive had it for almost a year. MARPAT maybe different I dont know. Tru spec has built in RipStop which stops major ripping.
Though real MARPAT would be better. It looks better than Tru Spec for sure. Ive seen both.

Yeah I own Tru Spec multicam trousers, and multi is the only camo scheme from TS in my experience that is built well. I've also heard that from a lot of people. but their less expensive woodland BDU and MARPAT are really low qualityHans wrote:THEMANatwar wrote:I found some on ebay. Truspec is awful, but I did say earlier Truspec MC is the only thing they make that doesnt fade.
But I wouldn't get multicam in my opinion it sucks, I had the real Crye Precision stuff a while ago and I hated it, I ended up selling it real quick. No real military branch is issued it either. Multicam is better for desert environments anyway.
ACU is the worst camo on the planet, its a joke, I can't take the Army seriously for wearing it, at Georgetown, people stick out like sore thumbs in it.
Marpat is the best choice by far. Get some off ebay and make sure its real deal, look for the marine logos. And yeah wear coyote brwon stuff with it, although its more expensive, its worth it.

Those are great prices, but i see they are used.... i dont mind getting used camo but i need to know what condition it is in. One more thing my mom is going to a base and i might go and check and see if they have any camo there too!
