I don't think I'll trust Chris with matches too... Last time Chris handle pyrotechnics (A puffy lipo that was about to burst), he was all naive and smiling and stuff like that.

Just still crack. Alex currently has my gun. He should be posting pictures. I am boggled by how it cracked and I'm only running a weaker spring than you and I know my gearbox is a replica of yours.

replaced gb with reinforced deepfire
replaced piston o-ring with lowes #14
replaced nozzle with tighter o-ring nozzle.
replaced spring guide to fit deepfire gb (unfortunately, it's not a ball bearing guide)
the inside of the cylinder showed wear from rubbing with the metal piston head. the thicker o-ring should prevent it from reoccurring.
shooting at 480-490 fps and sounds like a live pig getting roasted.

yep the gears are load
they should replace it
nice crack,had to be a defect

i booked my hotel reservation for friday night (holiday inn express using my AAA discount).
we will check out the field later that night. not sure if we will stay until sunday.

it's gonna be me and the two boys. unfortunately, there's a jROTC military ball that same day so my daughter and the others will not be making this game.

As far as pyro goes, I've heard anything that doesn't launch or make a big boom is good to go, but you have to show everything to the field owner and get approval before the game. I don't think campfires are allowed, but if they are, keep them a LONG way away from the Ga base. If my night vision gets jacked up and I get captured for the sake of a campfire it's not going to be pretty.

i think the fire thing was for friday night,half the fun of the game is gonna be camping on friday.i think i may bring the big grill with me.

And I hated every minute of that and I hate every minute when i am in the field and its raining.

Oh come one Twitch OP: Freedom was EPIC in the rain. Yes it sucked later that night, but it made the crazy moments of the game more intense.

This is very True. That was probably the most epic game we have ever played. Short of Josh leading a whistle initiated charge of ten year olds at OG.

Dude! Your Infantry! You will learn to Love the rain! Great memories are made because of rain! I have a fantastic memory of PFC Yu's ruck filling with water because he didn't set his hooch up correctly. The really funny part was that he didn't want his feet to get wet, soooooo, he took EVERY thing out of his ruck so he could put his feet in it. Everything he brought to the field was soaked. E V E R Y T H I N G ! ! ! !

On the same Exercise, my SAW gunner ate all of his MRE's in the first 3-4 days we were out. They were supposed to last 8-9 days. I was pissed, but I still managed to laugh with the other NCO's when I told them.

Just go out and have a great time. When you think you are in the suck, just look at the guy next to you and how much worse off he is. Being wet with no way to avoid it makes the times you are dry that much better.

btw may want to bring some bug spray with deet. It will help keep ticks off if you spray your pants good.

+1.. A few weeks ago I played at GT when it rained all day. It was great!!! If the real troops can't pack it in on a rain day, then I shouldn't either. Suck it up buttercup!!! Plus, there is nothing cooler then seeing my .300g bbs hitting the rain, looking like the Matrix, as they trace to their target.

set up tent aired out and packed, went grocery shopping for field ration's & WATER !!! Did maintenance on my guns polished the inner barrels checked hop units & checked the rubber nub for wear(Found a small tear in the M16) checked GBB's CLEANED & LUBED, Ran thru my gear mader sure buttons and snaps were still working properly. Pretty much ready to go just waiting 2 more days I feel like it's more like a vacation as well with perks NO WIFE OR KIDS
