    MOSFET question Empty MOSFET question

    Post  CFA 21.12.11 2:07

I need a MOSFET cause he gun I have now only can run a lipo VFC Defender with G&p m120 motor and a m120 spring on a 11.1v I get 30BPS at about 380FPS I need a MOSFET also because my fun doesn't have a fuse. I want to also convert to deans connectors. Are they worth it? Also what is a good MOSFET that isn't a stealth trigger and doesn't have AB( I don't want the extra stress on my motor)?

    Please help me guys!

if you have room you can always do the bobfet
use a 12 volt relay from the parts store
they range from 5 to 12 bucks.
use them to switch the ground to the motor.
i have three running on guns .
    ics m4 33 rps 380 fps
    ics m4 29 rps 420 fps
    a&k spr 550 fps rps n/a
    all running 11.1s
    all running over a year
i will post up some pics, these things run fog lights and window motors in cars
they easily run aegs.i have had bad luck with mosfets.

I've used one in a VFC M4 getting 30rps and about 380fps. These things are incredibly hard to burn out IMO.

i will get some pics and how to up soon
Christmas has me running at the shop.
i put a small window relay in mo's gun and it seems to be working well.
i cost a few bucks more than the universal fog light ones but its just a little bigger than a mosfet.
most say the arc as trigger contacts touch burn them up.
i say its the amps that the motor pulls thru the contacts that burn them.
lotta rounds thru the twins and the relays prove to be better than any fet i have tried or heard of people using.

I tried making my own mosfets and ending up ordering a bunch off 3034 off digikey. Dang mine were messy and decided disguised enemy are the same and it cost about 8-10$ worth of parts anyway. And he sells them for 12$ of you buy 4.
