Yes and no. It probably won't be actively policed, but if I see people leaving my base with an illegal amount, I am kind of duty-bound to say something. That goes quadruple for eye protection. Like I said, it won't matter anyway because we can load at any captured base. There are like seven capturable bases.
so your the leader for Ga for this game?
Yes, but players will mostly be reporting to their platoon leaders, selection of whom is still in progress. I'm trying to make sure the different groups are all represented (Team Airsoft, Airdog Coalition, etc) so the selection is taking some time.

Blaze, I will not literally stop players and count BB's. If we're all honorable players such detailed enforcement will not be necessary anyway. However, if I happen to notice players blatantly violating rules, action will be taken. It's a game of honor and i expect ALL Ga players to follow the rules set in place by the organizers, as we will expect them to follow the rules we put in place next year, when the op is in Ga.

You are correct. However, you may only reload your mags at CAPTURED bases.

just a quote from some map intel

Thats fantastic thanks. And yes their base seems closer to the capturable respawn on their side, and they seem to be on higher ground. Oh well you never know. Were completely in a corner at least. My biggest concern is, becuase its in their state, that they are going to have just tons of more people show up and their people having played the field will recognize certain senarios and know exactly where theyre to go and what theyre to do. But i do think itll be fun regardless.

Well thats pretty much a given and can also be applied to real world senarios.. however I think we still have a great chance if we have a good turn out lol

Yes. I asked the AOSC a while back about this, not specifically for this game, but it's still AOSC rules so it applies. If it's a full suit, color doesn't matter. If it's a half suit, exposed uniform other than the suit must match your team's color.

Probably not, but that's GARRETT's call. I'm not an organizer.

The ammo limit is higher for SAWs so that you get something out of carrying around the weight of a SAW. It shouldn't matter what kind of mags you use in the gun as long as you're under the limit.

    only one prob....
if its not a saw you can only have 2k loaded in mags.

    alpharomeo
can you use a box mag as long as you only load 2k in it??
also will there be a pre-reg so we can get a true # count?
if we get players to sign up and pay,we can get a better count.

Garrett would be the main guy to ask about rules, but i would say you could definitely not pass 2000 rounds in a box mag as acceptable. It would be impossible for admins to determine how many rounds you are actually carrying.

No pre-register. Numbers are high, but for Operational Security, I won't say any exact numbers. Won't have a final count until we're closer to the event anyway. Should be well over a hundred from Ga though.

I would think the box mag would make its designation a support weapon or SAW (squad automatic weapon) so it wouldn't matter

No. A support weapon is NOT an M-4 with a box mag. A support weapon is defined as a weapon whose real-steel counterpart would also be a support weapon. Some examples are: M249 Saw's, M60's, M240B's, SHRIKEs, RPK's, etc.

The marine corps has been working to replace/supplement the M249 with a assault rifle type weapon using a box mag for a while and have chosen the H&K IAR.
