I'll link you to the complete list/discussion. By the way, from what I understand, they would allow the MG the Marine Corps chose, but you would have to custom make it.

I hate to be the Nazi about stuff like this, but it would SUCK to get all the way up there just to find out you can't use some of your gear.

Yeah, I usually run an M-4 variant with midcaps, usually not more that 1200 rounds. The rules make no difference to me, but people are having to adapt to the rules. I think it will make for a very interesting game.

Thats fantastic thanks. And yes their base seems closer to the capturable respawn on their side, and they seem to be on higher ground. Oh well you never know. Were completely in a corner at least. My biggest concern is, becuase its in their state, that they are going to have just tons of more people show up and their people having played the field will recognize certain senarios and know exactly where theyre to go and what theyre to do. But i do think itll be fun regardless.

AlphaRomeo actually chose the southern base over the Northern base, and when you guys get on the field you will see why he did so. SC's base is a little higher elevated, but is also harder to maneuver to other areas of the field from there quickly. The road system around that area is long and winding with no shortcuts. Again you will see what I mean when you guys get there. As far as SC players knowing the field better, that is no so true either. The full field has only been in play twice, and other than Aircross no one will really have an upper hand for the most part.

Guillies have no color restriction. Just be sure that what ever you wear underneath matches your color faction.

so if i build an IAR
i can use it as a support weapon?
will it have to use a c-mag or is a box mag ok?
i was looking in to it and can build it for around $400

(New here) This should be a fine event in spite of a few minor handicaps relative to the SC forces and the usual annoyances of small college ROTC doucebags, all of which are easily dismissed

Since my earlier post, I've gone back and reviewed this whole thread and here are a few observations:

    > there are a couple of rules with which I disagree but will observe nonetheless; they are part of the game's construct and I choose to play this game
    > as a game, airsoft is based on the honor system, yet many of the posters seem bent on openly cheating. If those people want to cheat, why attend a game a game at all? Why not just shoot at yourselves in the backyard? There is no win if those conditions that define win are circumvented
    > I am amazed by the number of seemingly grown men posting who display the maturity and discipline of petulent six-year-olds, especially those posters who call themselves soldiers
    >if the defining elements of the game are too agregious, don't play this one-- organize an event more to your liking
    >this is a game, not reality; actual combat lasts longer and respawns from mortal wounds are rare. As such, I sympathize with twitch's and aggressor's indignation at having to play in such a bloodless environment and no one will mind if they skip this assembly of candy-asses
    >ACU really sucks big time

I intend to enjoy this event, treat it as a game and observe its conventions, and ignore those who would taint my fun, and I don't give a flying <CENSORED> about your experience

It doesn't blend in but sometimes it's fun to wear it just to look cool, and when playing CQB it doesn't really matter what you have on.

I do agree on the blending in. But it seems to sorta work in Afghanistan (only after you've stained it with sand). I like wearing ACU though, more so than multicam.

the humvee is supposed to be used a transport only....you can't shoot at it and the occupants can't fire out...in fact, being caught shooting at the humvee in any way will get you bounced from the event..as per the Aosc forums...

The camping area is our base. The Humvee will be used to drop teams at specific locations at specific times for missions. It will do that for both teams.
