Since my earlier post, I've gone back and reviewed this whole thread and here are a few observations:
> there are a couple of rules with which I disagree but will observe nonetheless; they are part of the game's construct and I choose to play this game
> as a game, airsoft is based on the honor system, yet many of the posters seem bent on openly cheating. If those people want to cheat, why attend a game a game at all? Why not just shoot at yourselves in the backyard? There is no win if those conditions that define win are circumvented
> I am amazed by the number of seemingly grown men posting who display the maturity and discipline of petulent six-year-olds, especially those posters who call themselves soldiers
>if the defining elements of the game are too agregious, don't play this one-- organize an event more to your liking
>this is a game, not reality; actual combat lasts longer and respawns from mortal wounds are rare. As such, I sympathize with twitch's and aggressor's indignation at having to play in such a bloodless environment and no one will mind if they skip this assembly of candy-asses
>ACU really sucks big time
I intend to enjoy this event, treat it as a game and observe its conventions, and ignore those who would taint my fun, and I don't give a flying <CENSORED> about your experience
