OP: VENOM - 09/24/11

Thanks guys for posting up!
AIRDOG will not utilize the typical perks at this OP (ex.: helo, "behind enemy lines", etc..).
However, there will be several hand held FLIR units that will have to be "unlocked" during night play.
Definitly an worthy perk when conducting a covert base attack!

The Rebel Elite will be selected by the Commander of the Guerilla Forces (GF).
Thier role during the event will be to complete selected missions against the Delta Force (DF).

In other news....
We are looking for someone to play Commander of the Delta Forces (green team).
Players with previous scenario experience preferred.
PM if you are interested!

Who's commander of the GF? i know Bulloch wanted to play a commanding role, i have a large white board and stuff he could use as commander, or i could hand it off to whoever else is supposed to be in command

Its what ever you guys play together and know your strengths i just want to help support you guys or doing some over watch

I just found out some of my new recruits will come I thought theyhad a boy scout thing but I think they got out of it

Dagger Unit will be attempting to make a showing at this game. Tan team I believe.

Thought I would post the rules and regs of the field for the old dogs and new comers.

1)Fire pits - can be above ground. DO NOT CUT ANY TREES DOWN. And Do not burn Doors, bunkers, ETC. Or I will ask you to leave. The landowner is very protective of the trees.

2)Fighting – Lets leave any and all conflicts at HOME. When you get back home you can start the feuds back up. We will have newcomers and kids around and we do not want to give my field, Airdog or the sport of Airsoft a bad name. So please lets all just have fun and leave all issues at home.

3)The sandbar will be open for food and drinks Friday and Saturday. The waitresses are nice girls so behave and drink responsibly. Help support the local business so they will open for all of our events.

4)For all of you away from mom and dad for the first time, NO UNDERAGE DRINKING. If you are underage and drink I will ask you to leave and have to call mom and dad to come get you. And of course NO DRUGS.

5)NO ATVS. Only staff will use these for any reason.

6)Trash – Whatever you bring in with you please take out or put into a trash can. We have 3 port-a-potties and if you camp away from the, PLEASE dig a hole 1 foot or deeper so no one will find your surprise. Thanks

7)If you need WIFI there is a coffee shop 4 miles up the road that has it for free.

8)We have 1 more cabin for rent. I think. They sleep 6 and are $65 per night they are in walking distance to the Vietcong Base or you can drive a short way to the American Base.. Treat them like your own house so we will not lose the use of them for future games. Must bring your own towels and sheets. Central heating and Air and shower and toilet. Let me know asap so we can get it reserved for you and I believe $50 deposit.

9)Waivers you can print them off at www.battlezonepb.com under waivers. It will help the move the registration process to move faster and I would appreciate it.

11)If you get lost on the field, keep my cell # close by and I will find you before the banjos start playing anf someone thinks you have a pretty mouth.LMAO.

Number 11 seems like it might have some flaws Gunner, especially if you end up being too busy to handle dealing with someone lost. I wouldnt really worry about older players (16+), its the younger players i'd be concerned about.

I recommend those who have kids they're bringing to the event or those who know they are bad with directions to buy a whistle. 3 short burst of a whistle is a typical signal that you are lost and or in trouble. That should help take a load off of you.

every trail leads to a main road. So i hope they wont get to lost. And it was meant as a joke.lol

and is there power to charge batteries mainly at camp sites

My team does have a 5200 watt generator though, just dont know if we'll bring it

the only showers will be in the cabins. so u can bring your own. And Airdog will charge your batteries for a fee.

And i am hoping we can use the sandbars bathrooms if not bring your hand sanitizer because no water hoses

I have a inverter for my truck so I can charge there it only has one plug so I can do one battery at a time
