Safety
Kill rags required!
Full face protection required for all players under the age of 15.
Flashlight and red glow stick required for night play
will you guys be selling kill rags and glow sticks? If so, how much?
Also, will be allowed to have different colored glowsticks or do we have to use red? Edit: If not, I plan to use yellow/green glow-sticks as IFF for my boys

after that crazy shootout we had with SC at their camp during the Delimitation , I would advice that they wouldn't be. It was fun wreaking havoc on those guys, but its a risk to personal property in my opinion

Op Venom 09/24/11
Hey also, could I if I wanted to, if i just wanted a clean uniform each game, wear say my multicam for the first game, civies/PMC gear for the night game( both tan team uniforms I know ) and then say my woodland MARPAT on Sunday? ( Green team uniform I know. ) Just wanted to ask if I was tan team for two games then if I wanted to change clothes for Sunday would the switch of teams be okay? Or is it once your on a team you stay on that team? Just askin. Ive never been to an overnighter before haha.
Appreciate it,
Jesse

To be honest when you're actually out there you don't care that much about the condition of your uniform. I usually bring two sets of a uniform for the team I'm on in case something happens to one set but I mostly use the same set the whole weekend.

agreed. You arent out there doing a fashion show. Get dirty, you'll look more BA.

actually, youre right. I try to look as 1337 as I can. I guess what I really should have said was dont worry about getting your gear roughed up and dirty.
The other day i left my IBH on top of the roof of the truck i was in. fell off during a turn and ate pavement hard.
added some nice scars though

Re: OP: VENOM - 09/24/11
you will often hear people quoting me on this. But it is true:
Airsoft is 90 percent looking good and looking the part. It is also 10 percent firing indiscriminantly at anything that moves, regardless of whether it is on your team or not.
That being said, I will wait to see what side DU is going for, but I have many sets of unforms, so I can play whichever side ahs less numbers if needed.
Really looking ofrward to this though. We Always had good games at the old battlezone.

Re: OP: VENOM - 09/24/11
Any kind of command structure going on or is it every airsoft team for themselves?
I might be taking this event a bit too serious but I'm thinking about trying my luck with commanding my airsoft team from our tent if i have at least 2 squads to work with.
I have a large whiteboard, which has a map of the field.
Its 3'x2' and also gridded. Still working on the map to make sure its accurate with Battlezone's map, and once its finished I'll make a copy of the battlezone map which has matching grids.
I tried it out at my field. Takes some getting use to, but once you get the hang of it, it works out pretty well. So long as there is a lot of accurate radio communication between HQ and the guys on the ground, you can pretty much paint a picture of the entire AO and have a general idea of whats going on. Really comes in handy when assigning new missions to the guys on the ground too so long as they actually listen to you.
Havent tried it at a op this big before so im kinda eager to see how it'll work out.
Figured it might also help during the planning phases if each individual team wants to work together and get assigned to specific missions/objectives.
If anyone wants to be an overall commander to a team and wants to use it, thats fine with me so long as we're on the same team and you take care of it.
Also planning to buy some tan and green army men, dry erase and wet erase markers for use with the board.

Yeah I know about looking dirty and all that. I was talking about hygiene. Lolz. I dont know about you guys but after 4-5 or more hrs in a shirt it begins to get pretty bad especially under that plate carrier! I dont mind stinking while Im playing, running, shooting, etc. But between games and during dinner and stuff I like to smell okay at least lol.

My guys have radios but yours could come in handy. claymores are perfect, not sure if a bazooka would come in handy unless we can expect some technicals or armor?
